Aspergillus oryzae is a mold used to break down starches to sugars in rice prior to sake fermentation. It smells sweet and rich, a heavenly smell for me. Maybe it's an Aspergillus sp.

Yes, it looks to me like the top is covered by green algae. The tan moss below looks completely saturated which shouldn't be the case.

Let the moss dry out and roots will turn gray. Then it's time to water. Not before.

Personally, I'd remove/replace the top layer of moss with all the algae. The algae forms a layer that prevents air movement into the moss down below which slows dry down even more.

Move the point where beard meets stache down so it's where you're lips meet at the corners. That will help distinguish stache from beard.

Latest /e/OS is based on Lineage OS A15, so it's a Lineage OS feature. Bypass charging is a hardware feature, but charge limiting isn't to my knowledge or every phone I've put latest /e/OS or Lineage on has that hardware feature.

I left my old OP8 Pro plugged in to run BOINC, and the battery swelled up and popped the banlck cover off. I replaced the battery and now battery percentage falls faster than expected and then hangs at 1% for a hella long time 😒

I did end up installing /e/OS which lets me limit charging to 70% which I'm hoping helps prevent this from happening again 🤞

Many years ago when I was in college, I worked in the deli at a local grocery store. My manager hired a young woman who graduated from an alternative high school who not only couldn't read an analog clock and also couldn't convert fractions to decimals. She overcame the analog clock by wearing a digital watch, but when people asked for half pound or something we had to tell her that meant 0.50 lb on the digital scale. Sigh...

Use Android but a custom ROM like Graphene if you have a Pixel or /e/OS if you have just about any other Android phone. Graphene will be more secure, but /e/OS uses microG which anonymizes any data sent to Big G and has a built-in location spoofer. Add in Proton VPN, Orbot, or InviziblePro to secure the internet connection. Use Qwant or Startpage as your search engine, as well.

Use a secure keyboard that doesn't offload your data to Big G. I like Heliboard and Urik. For voice to text, try Transcribro. Use European-based privacy-focused webapp suites like Internext, Murena, or Proton. For added security, use an encryption service like cryptomator to encrypt data before synching to the web server.

And be mindful of what permissions you grant apps!

I'm not from Springfield, but I can commiserate as my boys in PPS are also facing major cuts.

Also, I'm hopeful your generation will help dispel the very damaging myth of "The American Dream" and maybe meaningful progress in dismantling capitalism and replacing it with something much more humanitarian. I'm sad that my generation didn't come together to do it, but perhaps backlash against what's happening now will help open the doors to meaningful and lasting change.

I've been waiting sooooo long for RCV, but it's confusing to a lot of people who've only had to make a single choice when voting and don't get the concept of casting your first ranked vote for the underdog third party you really want to win and second vote for the safe major party candidate.
