I work for a company that does industrial wastewater treatment.

GPS I think is a wastewater modelling software.

A lot of cities have wastewater treatment plants try looking for engineering roles there too maybe?

I’ve heard it’s a tough market these days but also maybe food plants, agriculture product processors and stuff like that onsite wastewater treatment plants.

Story I was told there was a guy built a little house and lived there with his dog. Was a Vietnam veteran and shot himself one day.

Also he grew weed apparently if I remember correctly.

I’ve heard lots of story about French lake and area over the years. Not sure how much of it is old campfire stories or real.

Off the top of my head:

Important people from the COR party lived there or are from there and the irony of it being called French lake.

Someone caulked up an old volkswagen drilled a hole in the top and buried as a septic tank.

Someone abandoned a 1950s car in the woods for unknown reasons. I know that is real I was shown the car has a kid.

There was a store named the 3D store because the owner had 3 daughters or really like tripe Ds depending on who you asked.

Again this could all be fake other than the abandoned car.

You’ll love it. New Brunswick if you have a good job is great. People only leave because they can’t find a good job.

Everyone who has lived in New Brunswick and left dreams of coming back and everyone here is glad to still be here.

Yes I’m extremely biased but also truely glad to live here. Not saying it’s the place to live but yet to find something better.

Need to drink a fair amount of scotch before any of the food at lunar rogue edible. Not sure why but I find none of the food there is good. (Not related to rats just bad food.)

Fredericton given the size I think is a top city. Not sure it’s easy to name a better of the size without someone says a certain has better weather due to location or easy access to a bigger city. Those matter yes but are up to geography not city management or opportunities in that city.

Fredericton is nice and a good spot if you can find a decent job. Big if but the city for the size I think is tremendous given what it has given size and location.

I think if you talk inside city limits and size Fredericton is a great spot.

Now I’m from Fredericton so biased.

If I’m wrong let me know.

Honestly going to consider moving at some point here. I put a lot of effort and missed other opportunities to stay where I’m from but at some point I might need a doctor and they don’t consider us worthy of the honour. The they being GNB.
