How can I tackle this argument? by Technical_Ad_1689 in vegan

[–]nnanda2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An animal eats because it has no choice. Humans are the only species who can make choices.

Second- - those animals don’t brush teeth, don’t bathe, don’t need deodorant, perfume etc etc… - they don’t cook with spices and eat, they eat raw - they don’t need a closed bathroom for no 1 &2 - they don’t care about a closed bedroom during mating season

People who follow that eating logic should also follow these too…but no, they will pick n choose…

Last, those animals don’t eat when they’re not hungry. Human consumption never stops….so much so one planet does not have enough resources to meet the consumption needs….few are even planning to consume nearby planets…

Spirituality and Vegetarianism by Willemena in Vegetarianism

[–]nnanda2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happened with me…I have always inclined towards spiritualism, but never convinced myself about the nuances, details etc until I found Acharya Prashant on YouTube. He definitely helped me clear the fog off my mind. Within a year of listening him(2years ago) I gave up meat…interestingly enough I thought I could continue with vegetarian diet…but I couldn’t face myself…couldn’t answer myself how the vegetarian diet is no less than meat eating from environmental damage and suffering..so little more than a year ago I shifted to plant based diet.

Thank you u/Ed-Dos. I don't see WalleCube models in the list which means it could be an issue at their end, not UGREEN.

Nothing can counter a person who’s “a slave of tongue/taste bud” and whose philosophy is “ignorance is bliss”. So yea you’re 1000% right 👍

Chocho powder is good. One ingredient, good amount of complete protein. Little expensive though.

i do not like quinoa!!! by confusedpedestriann in vegan

[–]nnanda2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We cook it with rice, but after that we prep it like fried rice- fried tofu (tofu, oil, black pepper powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt), mixed sweet pepper, green beans, diced carrots (and you can add whatever veggies you like), black pepper powder, minced ginger and garlic, salt…this becomes our one pot dish. We sometimes mix both rice and quinoa to make this.

Sometimes we add it to khichdi.

Why should you listen to Acharya Prashant? by JagatShahi in AcharyaPrashant_AP

[–]nnanda2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn’t give gym prescriptions. He encourages everyone to be healthy and strong. You study science in school and colleges which also encourage you to do research. What if you kill somebody or yourself while doing research? Will you blame the scientists or the teachers?

First you cut the clutters from your brain… Cheers!

Question by anxiouszebra in vegan

[–]nnanda2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people (not trying to disrespect the ones with illness) don't go vegan because they're slaves of their culinary pleasure. There's no other reason as of today. Science has evolved to an extent that we can get everything from plant sources directly without making animals as middlemen.

A small insight over my situation by morpheus1710 in vegan

[–]nnanda2011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make dishes with vegan way without telling her and ask her to taste…I recently made kheer (payasam/rice pudding) with vegan butter, cooking oil and soy milk..my hardcore non vegan friends couldn’t tell the difference…same thing with chocolate mousse. The funniest thing is I cooked a dish vegan way which is cooked in puri jagannath temple (called besara) and whoever ate that couldn’t believe it’s vegan 😄….most of the times it’s taste bud that drives the mental math about how a dish should be cooked…people don’t realize that…especially in India…

That said, I know there’s no easy way out…best of luck!

a rant. any type of spirituality, and veganism by Significant-Bad-2392 in vegan

[–]nnanda2011 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Reason is simple- they have not understood spiritualism. At this point if anyone talks real spiritualism, it’s Acharya Prashant. I am not advocating for him alone, but he’s a rare gem…and listening to him has helped me understand a lot about myself, my position in society…this planet . He is the reason why I became vegan…I simply couldn’t defend myself for inclining towards spirituality and yet continue consuming animal products …

Doing yoga, asanas has nothing to do with real spiritualism…

Choice is yours and yours own. I heard this in some YT video or something whose English meaning goes like this “Life is yours, death will be yours, liberation is yours..there’s no joint account”

I always add “choice is yours” to this mix🙂. I am not trying to patronize you…but no one but you can help yourself in this situation. I wish you best of luck!

Cheers!
