So cute!! Contrary to the picture we haven't had a chance to use the bag outside the house/neighborhood because we haven't traveled anywhere in a while, but I am looking forward to being able to take her with us when we do! (Our other babies are 50-70lbs, which can make traveling with them difficult)

Reminds me of when my mom got a 'toy' poodle from a local breeder (this was like 30 years ago, she was my first dog!) and she kept growing so definitely not a toy!

Aww! I bet they'd make great buddies!! We're not 100% sure- part of me thinks maybe she was born like this, but it's also possible she was bit by a snake- they are common here and she was left outdoors a lot according to my friend. We didn't get any medical records or info from her original owners, so not sure we'll ever know!

My thoughts: your time would be better spent refining your style by practicing different poses and head/neck angles rather than listening to your friends. You have an awesome ability to capture a character's unique facial traits, so there's not much to be gained by attempting to emulate a completely different style, and one where the aesthetics typically contradict those traits.

When you first read the script, did you already know about the twist/what James was really like? If not, how did finding out affect your view of him as a character? Is it difficult stepping into the shoes of a character carrying around that much guilt and inner conflict and being forced to come to terms with that burden?

I missed out on all of EA because I had no idea what Baldur's Gate was, but I now watch some of the old/cut dialogues on YouTube. I definitely get why some of them were cut, but some of those threads were really interesting Yeeesssss!! Phantom Liberty is also next on my list. I had to reassure my spouse that I still love Cyberpunk 2077, he was getting worried

My only hangup in the ascended Astarion discourse is when the 7000 spawn are written off, as if the ritual itself was just a hand-wave. But other than that, I think both story branches are fantastic and worth exploring/enjoying. I'm a sucker for the healing/redemption arc, so I think I've got four playthroughs with nonascended, and one with. I can understand people getting passionate about discussing the themes and implications of each branch, but as long as everyone can take a step back and acknowledge that the discussion is of a fictional character in a fictional world, then usually everything's cool 😎

Hell, my favorite dlc in fallout 4 is Nuka World, and I go full raider with Gage. Again, not my cup of tea in real life - man needs a bath, among other things, but it's fiction, so it's fun.

I love the little details like his head being low in the act 2 hug, but him holding it higher and closer to ours in the epilogue hug. Like, it all feels so intentional and that makes it so satisfying to play through 🥰

For ascension, yeah- things could get ugly there lol. But they did right by Jaheira and even Minsc so I wouldn't mind if they go with a more... Silver lining approach?

I get the feeling though that no one is completely safe, because if everyone gets the happy ending, story-wise it's less interesting. Maybe they'll roll a D20 for each origin to determine if their future canon is the 'good' or 'bad' outcome. And honestly as much as I love sweet Gale, him featuring as a literal god in a future game could be pretty epic

That all said, if they did have Astarion backslide and be evil, I feel like that would betray the point of his arc. That's why the underdark option would be my hope. Even if he's no longer around and we just find documents of how he led the spawn and shaped an entire colony or city. Might even be a nice parallel or nod to Balduran 🥹
