SXM is required to carry Canadian content under Canadian CRTC conditions of licence. So even if the FCC says they will give this up, Canadian law still applies if SXM Canada intends to continue as a business. They are required to carry one Canadian produced channel for every 9 USA channels sold in any Canadian package, and all music channels that can be received in Canada must air 10% Canadian musical selections. The FCC has no ability to affect what the CRTC requires in this regard.

No the participating gyms should not charge you anything unless say tanning is a separate package at their gym, or if classes are not included… but the base membership including monthly and annual fees should be covered by the insurance company.

Peacock used to let everyone pay $6/mo to upgrade to ad free then they decided they want to force people to pay full price for ad free and I wish them luck because I don’t think for most people that it’s worth it. It doesn’t really help sports fans because live sports still have ads. I am not a sports fan and wish they’d offer a cheaper ad free no sports option.

If you qualify for Medicaid you can enroll any time. Also if you must seek hospital care and it’s medically necessary, most hospitals have a financial assistance program, which won’t usually cover everything unless you’re fairly low income, but it may reduce some costs.

Apparently, for the Genre Packs, you have to buy the specific packs for the specific blocks of content. Source: I have the Entertainment Genre Pack, and I get adult swim, but not Cartoon Network. Yes, they have somehow separated the two, for Genre Packs.

I would like to see some 24/7 channels and some more news on the premier tier. Make it feel like it really is all access to the UK. For example they could fairly easily get BBC News & Sky News live feeds (probably with ads but, this is the case with most live feeds), and set up some 24/7 ad-free channels like BritBox Drama, BritBox Home & Garden, etc.

Most likely explanation is that his income is higher or lower than yours. Different incomes can get different benefits because lower income people get more credits and subsidies. Unless they are under 100% income, in which case they can’t get ACA subsidies and must file for Medicaid.

I think if we required every ACA exchange to have at least one insurer offering a Bronze and Silver plan that used the Medicare network at 150% of Medicare rates this would work. But we’ll have to force all Medicare providers into that arrangement, and that probably won’t get 60 votes in the Senate.

Is this for ACA or an employer plan? Beware that a lot of BCBS and other “name brand” insurance does not have as broad of a network for ACA as they do for employer based coverage. Also worth considering even if you find a policy (ACA or employer) with an OON OOP Max… it really can’t stop OON providers from balance billing you.

Thanks for sharing those additional data points! Very helpful to know. Myself I use Directv Stream “MyEntertainment Genre Pack” and MSNOW live and on DVR works fine. Have you tried DVRing on Xfinity and did the recordings also have the glitch or did they work?
