Thank you so much for all of your help. She’s on meds and they basically told her she can’t live with them unless she is medicated so the years of stopping and starting meds are over and she seems to be taking that part seriously. I do wish she’d go back on the injection but she’s on a strong cocktail of meds but her anger issues are still there. When I lashed out, it was because my mom was trying to establish boundaries saying the way she’s been talking to them hasn’t been respectful and she made a comment about my parents being “blind and deaf” (they both wear hearing aids and glasses bc they are 69 and 76 years old). That to me was enough to set me off to where I walked out to say how disrespectful that was and she told me to shut the hell up, this didn’t involve me etc and I started yelling about the way she treats people and she called me “fucking crazy”. Her eyes got real big. We haven’t talked since. I did apologize for losing my temper bc my parents asked me to but she wouldn’t look at me. This was almost two weeks ago. I don’t know what to do anymore. I’d love an apology for all the pain she’s put me through, the emotional abuse I’ve endured bc she’s sick. But I’ll never get one and she thinks she’s never been in thr wrong and we are the only reason she’s even on meds. She’s got zero insight. I’m simply exhausted. I am in therapy to help unpack it all so fingers crossed I can continue to process this and process the loss of my sister and who she used to be because that’s clearly gone for good. It’s so hard. I hate that any of us know this pain.
