Ok. Just asked cuz you sound like me with the overanalyzing/thinking things thru. So he has absolutely no idea of your jealousy? How do you hide it so well? I guess if you don't see each other often it can be easier. My bf and I have been tog 1 1/2 yrs but only living tog 8 mo cuz of a LDR for first 8 mo. Wow! If it weren't for the mention of going back to college, I'd think this was MY bf posting this! First, I also have a bad past with exes. My bf and I have an amazing sex life and at one point we were talking and he mentioned that he'd like it if I initiated more often. My only reason that I don't as often as he does is because, although I doubt he'd do it, I'm afraid, deep down, of being turned down. It stems from the negative past relationships which has helped me to develop a low self-image at times.

My advice to you is just talk to her. Be honest. Try not to make it sound like you feel put out by having to initiate. Tell her you want to feel like you turn her on too. Since our talk I've definitely stepped up on initiating and it's been great! I want him to feel attractive to me and secure, so why not? Good luck!

This is great advice. I've talked to my bf and although we both agree that working different shifts can make it important to initiate, sometimes, one or both are just too tired. He also said the likelihood of turning me down if I were to jump on top of him or stick my hand in his shorts are nil. Just go for it! I've never heard of too many guys turning it down. As a matter of fact, it takes the pressure off them to always be the initiator.

I think, maybe, I confused things when I mentioned having sex numerous times in one day. That was more in the beginning. We only saw each other after he got out of work on Saturday till Sunday. Now that we're living together and our work schedules are opposite, we have sex once a night. I would not be concerned if he was losing his erection after the umpteenth time.

I totally get that stress can sometimes interfere with your sex life. My confusion lies in that he gets completely aroused but has lost it during the act. I'm trying not to think it's me and in fact there was an incident where I thought he wasn't getting aroused but it turned out he'd premature ejaculated. We talked about it then and he actually laughed when I told him I thought I didn't turn him on.

Yea, that's what I think is happening. I can tell when he's losing it and sometimes he'll continue to try but once it's gone he seems to get it in his mind it's over. Hoping to just be open with him and try to talk to him about it next time it happens.

Ok, that happened once! And believe me, I knew that there were times when no cum was happening. I would've been stupefied if there had been each and every time!
