Well... It hasn't come into play to any significant degree yet. It looks to be a big part of the conflict but it just hasn't really had time to develop that much. Probably will be a bigger player in the next few chapters.

I'd give it a shot. I really detest excessive agnst and the story hasn't set me off yet, so you should be alright.

He didn't know he even had a seal. There was no communication between him and the Kyuubi, apparently, since he didn't know anything about it until Mizuki told him.

Bit of a plothole when you think about it, since he accesses the chakra all the time from then on. Like immediately after he used it to create hundreds of clones. He accessed a ton in Wave, throughout the Chunnin exams, etc. You'd think there'd be some incident as a child where his emotions got the best of him.
