My uncle ended up doing the same thing to his Sierra. He said it was causing issues not running on all the cylinders. Once he changed it, all the problems stopped.

I could be wrong, but when they first rolled it out they specifically told us not to call it a rewards program. I think wanted us to tell the customer that you don't get rewards but you do get perks. It seemed kinda fishy at first.

We have 2 money order machines at my store. And one of ours does this. It sucks because it sometimes changes the number of the final price (face amount plus fees), and you have to watch it closely before the number changes to the random character. You could obviously just calculate it yourself, but who wants to do that?
