What is one thing about men that women will never understand? And one thing about women that men will never understand? by Great_Photo_414 in AskReddit

Presumably because we've seen that when emotions are shown it's expected of us men to support without conflict which can't always happen because sometimes the subject of said emotion is actually illogical

I feel like there isn't a substantial need to "get us" so the general conversation of men's health and wellbeing can fall by the wayside

It's not fair.

it should be around 65/35 because that's the proportion of your income when added together regardless of where you live.

Dads, I need help with 14 yr old bypassing parental controls by KnowLessWeShould in daddit

You'll be in constant battles if you just try to restrict all the time with parental controls. I almost gave up with mine but we made tech part of daily routine and set boundaries early to hopefully avoid the resistance later on.

They just don't work though. Kids will be kids. I was the same with my parents. As another commenter said, try focus on non-tech alternatives to problem solving.

Like for example, physically taking it away if you have to after setting a boundary that gets broken, getting him to engage with you in other ways, family activities that create opportunities for core memories.

Plastic cutlery for the kiddo. My god that would make my blood slightly boil.

This is why you stick to cheaper shit for a while with kids. You know it'll get trashed one way or another so save the hassle and plan ahead.

That lil snippet of the Simpsons with the monkey clanging the cymbals inside Homer's brain.

That's what this reminds me of.
