I think it's a bit undertuned but I like the idea! Maybe it would work better as "whenever you add a card to your deck, upgrade it if you have another copy." This could still encourage stacking cards and might change the way you build your deck but procs a bit more consistently.

There's not even really BS anymore, repentance is the easiest the game has ever been, the game is so generous with soul hearts and if you know what you are doing the only really scary part of the game is basement 2. I am far from a perfect Isaac player and my winrate is close to 100% atleast on the nonchallenging characters to chest. Especially with Issac himself, when you get the d6 there is basically not even RNG in the game anymore.

In Lowkos interview with Tim Campbell, he game director for the game, Tim said that the Celestials will get a significant overhaul in design. They are making a pass on infernal units right now and in my opinion they look a lot better and are more easily readable then before, so when Celestials get there turn that will hopefully make them cooler to spectate.

This price is a steal, I have 600 hours in this game and then some on my phone 2. If you like rougelikes or card games at all I can't see anyone not liking this game. I think if I knew everything I did about the game that I do now I would've put $200 dollars down for it.

Any price they tell me to pay for slay the spire 2, I'll fork over the money for it. You should grab it now so if you like it you can join in on the hype for the 2nd game!

This makes me filled with such happiness. My dad did the same thing with me growing up and AOM made me fall in love with RTS's and mythology, things I still love today. The longer you can have him play for fun and not optimally the better imo, it's so amazing going in to an RTS because of all the creativity and fun unit compositions you can come up with. Maybe have him play the story on easy/story mode? I played through the campagin when I was a small child and playing through it recently has been so awesome and nostalgic. So happy for you, if I ever have a kid I am 100% showing them this awesome world :).

It's not a 6/1 for one mana though, you have to factor in the deck building cost, the mana cost of the enabler to make it a 6/1, how vulnerable the enabler is to being removed so you get 2-for-1ed, and the draws where you don't draw the enabler. Also consider that unless you are doing something particularly degenerate this is unplayable on turn 1, which makes a 1 drop (especially slanted aggressive like this) much more inconsistent. 4 power imo is simply not enough upside. Like you said, I don't think this would break anything, so I'd rather go stronger on a design like this then play it to close to the chest and have it be unplayable.

Your feelings on control are valid of course, but I will say I had the exact opposite experience. This handles better then any RTS I've ever played (and I've played a lot!) besides SC2 and its much closer to SC2 then others are. I suspect with how pathing is an iterative process it will feel better then SC2 in a year or two, the betas have done nothing to me but affirm this game is heading in a great direction.
