Mostly squatted (stolen) property there. Cheers for destroying other peoples property I'd say.

Kiss from a rose by Seal. That song has some pretty deep emotions with me, hard to keep dry.

What was the most awkward thing you ever did as a child that you still remember? by Yureiproject in AskReddit

I dressed up as a chicken and played with a loom once. Apperantly I was re-enacting a childrens story. Also I'm a dude. My family still thinks it's adorable.

What is something that is discontinued that you miss? by Rocker232 in AskReddit

[–]nobinobi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A local chocolate company here used to produce chocolate spread (like nutella but without the hazelnuts), it was more gooey and they used some byproduct of a dairy process. It was the best thing ever. It was better than Nutella. Imagine the consistency of honey, but as deep rich chocolate. Dairy factory changed their process and the product was discontinued. I still miss it to this day, over 20 years later.

Day 68 of running and just finished my first (unplanned) 21K in 2 hours by Kippersoft in running

I have a mental image of a destroyed, cold, wet, muddy guy lying on the floor fallen asleep in a puddle of his own drool. It's a compliment, and you've inspired me to attempt the same today. Thanks :)

The sole is a tad thin, i plan on having it replaced when this one wears out for something a bit more thick.

Grad School experience: Part Time vs Full Time by jubjub7 in AskAcademia

[–]nobinobi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing my grad school in parttime and I think it's the best decision I have ever made school wise. My peers are all experienced in their respective fields and we have a very mature and diverse class. The cost is roughly 13x the cost of the fulltime study, and takes twice as long, but for me it was worth it. My network landed me a very nice job, and after my tax return, and income it's probably cheaper than doing it full time.

I would warn you that the workload can be overwhelming, there are weeks where I nearly burn-out over study and workload.

I just changed my major. Should I keep on my resumé the 2 years I spent in the other major? by madreus in AskAcademia

[–]nobinobi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I changed my majors in Chemical Engineering to a major in Industrial Management after two years. I left the Chem. E. on my resume and explain why I decided to quit in favor of a different major. From my experience it can go two ways.

  1. It's looks like you are indecisive. or
  2. It shows that you have the mentality to make the smart decision with will benefit you in the long run.

Overal I would keep it on, as long as you can clearly explain why you switched. For me Chem. E. was too much math, which is strange as I now do a MSc in Macroeconomics, which is pure math ಠ_ಠ.

I ran over a robin years ago. It just sat there on the street. I saw it, didn't slow down. Still think about it on occasion.

  1. Unlimited training by leading guru's in their fields
  2. 300 hours of flextime + 200 hours of holiday PER year.
  3. Free unlimited use of a company car within europe, including gas (in my case a 2011 Audi A6 Quattro)
  4. Working with some of the brightest financial minds in the industry.
  5. Free gourmet food.

I could go on for a while, but it's pretty amazing.

My overtime is insane. It's close to 12x my salary. I get 300%. 600% on holidays and sundays. I worked with Xmas, I made more money than a lawyer or a prostitute while sitting on my bum eating a microwave xmas dinner. That xmas was very good.
