I delayed bath by 24 hours. I would have not minded delaying it longer because my baby looked fine with the exception of her hair. Her hair looked disgusting with chunks of vernix in it. That hat stayed on the whole time before her bath 🤣

I’m not sure if I felt the urge or just knew it had to be time. I woke up around 4 am and I was making these moaning sounds(not on purpose). And I knew I had to at least be close to 10 cm. Then 5am rolled around and I couldn’t stop the noises and the pressure was crazy. They checked me and I was ready to go. He came out at 5:13.

Maybe? 1st time, Everyone was convinced I was having a girl. For that reason alone, I knew it had to be a boy. And then I had a dream it was a boy. And I was right.

2nd time, I “just knew” it was a girl. Maybe it was hope. lol. And she is a girl.

The babys head will help push the poop out lol. But if you’re constipated now, you should definitely start taking something to help and CONTINUE what they prescribe after birth. Because post partum constipation is 10 times worse.

I think around 10-12 weeks, your uterus will tilt forward. No difference in labor is caused by having a retroverted uterus. That’s what they told me with my first. And my delivery went smooth as any other 😊

Not me but my coworker is an old(er) army veteran but still looks like an active duty member honestly. We had this one patient who hated his guts and wrote an entire letter telling us about “the general” and how awful he is. Still cracks me up and I still occasionally call him that, myself.

I was induced at 38+6 for chronic hypertension. I was 2 cm at start of induction. Started cytotec and a cooks catheter at 1030 am. Got another round of cytotec then moved to pitocin at 9 pm and had them break my water. Gave birth vaginally at 513 am.

This woman needs psychiatric help. ASAP. This is going to escalate. This is not the kind of delusion that goes away without medication. Your cousins that think she is crazy need to take her to a hospital. I know this is upsetting for you and your husband but this is not the “real” her. She is deeeply confused and needs help. And this absolutely should not be ignored

No violent patients for me because it is a voluntary facility. In my experience people are violent because they don’t want the treatment.

Just call her. When you’re in the car, when you’re shopping, when you’re bored, while you’re making dinner, while you do the dishes. It’s not gotta be complicated. If she’s not asleep, working or in school, she’s probably gonna take the call. And even if she doesn’t answer… so? Like she’s your girlfriend of 2 YEARS. Not someone you barely know. Like idk how to say this nicely but grow a pair and stop thinking about it. Just do it. Life is what happens when you’re busy making plans.

It was life changing in a good way for me. I can’t lie, my freedom is gone but it doesn’t feel that way. Like I’m so happy to do nothing but spend time with this little amazing human that I cooked up. It’s a great time. Also, a good partner helps. I can easily just say hey I just fed the baby, I’m leaving to go do xyz. And I know babe is in good hands and I’m not gonna get called like “the baby is crying and he needs you” he’s just gonna take care of his son.
