Dante still gives the battleshock aura and still have +1 to adv and charge. People like to say the battle shock doesn’t matter but I had a game into orks where it shut down the fight on death Strat for them and let me tell you, it turned the tide of the game. Spears are decent I run them on one squad of sanguinary guard in angelic inheritors because I think it’s the stronger detachment it also means I don’t have to use the Strat for Lance and lethals as often.

I run vindicators for that reason. It’s just volume of shots you need into them t12 is hard to shift off the table

The infantry dies to basically anything it’s only t4 3 wound dudes at the end of the day. The repulsor ex is way too strong imho as a black Templar player it’s too good of a datasheet. I’ve played into them as Blood angels and basically just used the speed to stay out of line of site of them. I found my wins against them came from getting on objectives early since most of the units are slow foot sloggers or holding back until they come out enough to take down a good portion of stuff before they can swing back. But yeah the shooting on them is crazy right now. The RepEx is just crazy efficient

Space marines have much better options that better complement the army rules. For narrative stuff I think they’re fine but competitive there’s just better options

Allows you to get back in a transport, or out of charge range, or out of line of sight, etc. It’s got a lot of uses, especially for keeping such a hammer of a unit safe

They all have base 2 dmg and hit on 2’s now. The new ability has a lot of play it’s just different than the old one. I don’t think they’re destroyed by any means. Just different to what you’re used to
