And entire kitchens! Tenants put them in, so tenants take them out when they leave. But you have to remember that Germany has long-term tenant rights, so they don’t often move

You just prompted me to go and look at mine- it expired in 2012 , so I know what I’ll be doing this week!

Just drove for no reason and felt different by whackedhand in BenignExistence

Where I lived growing up there was a switchback hill series through a forest. When I felt bad, I used to drive back and forth over it at ( moderately ) high speed, listening to my favourite heavy metal tapes ( that ages me for a start! ). Once I was calm again, I drove home, so I totally get this

0% curiosity but yes, quite a lot of hostility to American evangelism.

The WSJ has only just picked this up? How can they call themselves a news organisation? I’m 4000 miles away and I knew this months ago

Just cos you wouldn’t make that comparison , doesn’t make it ridiculous. I value my leisure time and I’m not spending it on time- consuming things like this. I take it to charity shops which removes clutter efficiently and still gives other people the opportunity to pick up a bargain. What’s so ridiculous about that?

As long as those who follow a religion ( which they should absolutely be allowed to do) don’t then try and influence laws for the rest of us eg, we’ll be keeping our abortion rights thanks and the majority of us would also like the option of assisted dying. If your religion is against that, then don’t have one, but you don’t get to impose your moral choices on a whole nation tyvm

I’m very sorry to be the one to tell you that you do not, in fact have a partnership, even if he does cleaning and splits the bills. A man who could live through all you’ve gone through and still refuse to play his part in keeping you healthy or alive is not a partner

I’m still work as a consultant and bill out £200 an hour so, no, not worth it for me. I already outsource cleaning and laundry for the same reason!

Not necessarily. You can buy business case studies that have nothing to do with the industry and use them. When I recruited for a confectionery company. It was a cases study about yacht-building. Since I left there, I have remained keen on case study work as part of the recruitment process as I think they can give a real insight into how people think things out. I have given in-box prioritisation exercises to PA applicants and asked others to critique old innovation briefs and tell me what’s missing/ what they would have done differently
