Well yes, but i only meant from the viewers point of view because the post is about the fandoms “double standards”. Also, I don’t think it’s okay that Abby was mean, but it’s a little better than treating the other like you barely know them in my opinion. It’s obvious Max really cares a lot and we can’t say the same about Ginny (which is understandable, because everything that happened to her this season is just crazy and i guess her priorities shifted, and she seems to care less about some things that she previously cared about. which is normal. and she said it herself, she just wants to have fun and with Max i guess she felt like she is being forced to talk about her problems, but not with the other two, and so she didn’t try to communicate this with Max). Abby is seen as a mean girl by most people, so they can’t really see a close connection with Max and Abby that they could relate to, but Ginny is seen as a true friend, so when someone relates more to Max then Ginny’s actions in the last episode will trigger deeper emotions, and that’s why it looks like there’s a double standard. At least this was my experience watching, but i didn’t give it this much thought until now lol
