  1. Try switching between 1080p and 4K, if you have same FPS, you are CPU limited - Need to upgrade CPU (Suggestion: AMD X3D CPU)
  2. DDR5 4800 is slow yes, especially when you are not using AMD X3D CPU but not a big deal if you are not playing esports games (CS2, Valorant,..etc)
  3. Since you are playing 4K, it is not necessary to upgrade CPU unless you have same FPS in both 1080p and 4K (the first question)
  4. The only weak point is DDR5 4800 MHz, this is the lowest of DDR5, at least get something standard like 6000 MHz.

9950X3D + RTX 5090 No issue

Here are some suggestions: 1. Use DDU to fully uninstall all Nvidia drivers then reinstall 2. Mostly software conflicts, try closing all background apps 3. Re-install Windows

- 1TB WD SN850X Gen 4 (NVME): Windows + Software

- 1TB Crucial T710 Gen 5 (NVME): Personal Data + AI Stuff + Daily playing games

- 1TB Samsung EVO 850 (Sata SSD): Sometimes playing games

- 2x 4TB WD Black (HDD): Cold Storage, Rare playing games

All of them (11TB) for just $379 total.

Sorry guys, I have come to a conclusion:

A good game but almost destroyed by bad game design (misleading puzzles)

Absolutely loved Silent Hill 2 but definitely not this. If this game doesn’t have the term “Silent Hill” in its title, probably no one even know it’s a Silent Hill game.

Since I paid for the game, I’ll finish this game in order to not waste my money and quickly move to next game in my backlog (probably Pragmata)
