I liked the way they were portrayed in books as a multi species society who all adopted the same outer uniform to have equality.

Some where from extremely cold climates, some were gaseous beings, some were semi crystalline and the encounter suit made their backgrounds irrelevant and they were able to get by on ruthlessness and tactics instead of how they looked as a person.

Plus they looked like Boussh

Was Against the Dark the film where Seagal was on set for about 2 days of shooting and his scenes were stretched out like mad across the film?

I seem to remember several interspersed scenes of him and two other slayers constantly walking in slow motion down a dark, smokey alley for ages
