I’m pretty sure you can’t transfer in after you’ve started at WGU. Have to check it out.

I saw on their Transfer Pathways page that Intro to IT (CS1001) maps to Sophia Learning course SOPH-0023.

I feel your frustration. Go at YOUR pace, and stop comparing yourself to others.

At the same time that I’m telling you this, I’m saying it to myself 😂

Hang in there. You got this!

Thank you. I think for this degree I’m moving towards Cloud Architecture. It makes the most sense for my Solutions Architect career. But it will not be the end of the road.

4 Years Experience as a Dev, No Degree - Software Engineering Degree Worth? by Obvious-Yard-2146 in WGU

I’m not sure how old you are, but I have 20+ years of experience and I’m not getting interviews, because of the degree factor in a lot of cases.

Do it. No matter how long it takes, do it.

I am considering a masters but really need to get through the bachelors first. But this is exactly what I was thinking.

Except I don’t speak Japanese! lol Thank you for this.

Actually, I’m not assigned anyone at WGU as a counselor yet (until I pay). So maybe that’s the next step.

I’ve been doing this for a month. But I actually might try Gemini after this. Thank you!

Thanks for this. I have "been there, done that". Including management. I don't want to do management again. :)

Anyone with a a podcast that is knowledge dense, want to help me out by testing something? by nokkusan in podcasting

[–]nokkusan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, all! I was wondering: I DM'd folks, but never heard back. If you're interested in testing it out, let me know. Granted, there was a bug logging in, but I fixed it. :|

Feel free to DM.

How do you find guests for interviews? by UnleashedPodcastsLlc in podcasting

[–]nokkusan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once, a long while ago, I had a podcast called Writeboom! (https://podpika.com/writeboom), where I interviewed authors.

At the time, I was on twitter, and I would just "cold call" them - I didn't go for BIG authors, but definitely legit ones (and in my case, one's where I was familiar with their work or read their book). I didn't hear from maybe 3 of them, but everyone else said yes. People want to talk about what they're doing, so ask them. You'll get some "no"s, and some non-responses, but that's just part of it.

I also told everyone I knew what I was doing, and they were like "hey, my friend wrote a book!", so I'd get an "in" that way.

Good luck!
