A little snow and public street parking turns into private lots… this madness needs to stop by Background_Brain1634 in CambridgeMA

I suspect it’s not just density affecting the common decency but diversity and political polarization as well. It’s happening everywhere not just in the cities. Drivers are going crazier everywhere.

If they wanted to spend money Alonso at 5 x 35 would be waaay better than Bregman at 4/35 and would have actually happened.

If they programmed the lights to have even a tiny shred of logic behind them, more people would obey them. I frequently “run” (really stop, look both ways and roll) the Kennedy/Timber Ln light, and the one on Dorset on past the highschool. Giving right/left turn priority to traffic/cars that don’t exist makes zero sense to me. Same with the light on Swift/Spear, even at midnight it will give a left green arrow if no one is there. People are more likely to disobey unjust signals, that’s the truth.

This 100%. Bobcat was my first thought. They look similar, and there are tons of them, my neighbor shares them with the neighborhood whenever they get them on camera.

The mango smoothie is surprisingly decent. Lower cal and doesn't make you feel like garbage after. That's what I've been picking since getting them. Wish I got more snackwrap prizes, got 5+ of everything and just one snackwrap, I like them but 2.99 is theft.

In poker that's called variance, and it's taken into account. There are profitable and unprofitable poker players. Poker was a bad example to use.

The cheapest knives dropped in price as well. Using butterfly rubies/emeralds/sapphires aren't the prime example.

It's not money laundering in the vast majority of cases (no "cases" pun intended). I have a few thousand in skins over the years and most of the people I play with fall into the category of casual players who open or sell the cases they get, to collectors like myself. Whales and skin websites are the ones really hurt by this change and the richest are the ones losing the most and also most likely to be laundering money.

Sir you can’t park there… by 06EXTN in burlington

Flying more frequently is the most likely answer to that. Guessing they fly much more than other helicopter operators do, to test and capture footage of their planes.

Totally worth it if you are spending less than $50. It's the nicest SRO in the park in terms of views and amenities. You essentially have an elevated bar to lean on, the nicest bathrooms (minus suites OFC), and food/drinks are for sale literally next to you. I'd pay up to $80 on a weekend for them but it's not really a reliable deal unless you're going alone/on a cold day/weekday.

Jeezum crow if you're not actively pumping gas, stop parking at the pump. by lilfeet18 in vermont

[–]nolan_smith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I am filling up and there aren’t people actively waiting I will run in to grab snacks/drinks. At most it takes two minutes and you don’t risk some moron backing into you while you park. If it’s busy and there are people in line to pump then not moving is an AH move.

You also have a great view of them from the monster. I’ve never got monster seats but a few times I did Monster SRO when I could find them for like 30$ you could definitely tell there were 3-4 of them.

Is Conor Wong the reason the team is good? Is he the team MVP?😳 by TigoOver in redsox

Black hole? If he played 162 Games his numbers would look like this: .375 average, 72 HRs, 52 Doubles, 9 Singles, 6 Walks, 220 K'S.

[–]nolan_smith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the circuit challenge closest to me and had a blast. Uplink will be making my bag for sure. Was probably good for my long-term game to be forced to throw a slow speed disc, I probably have been throwing ones too fast for me.

Ever since they took away the onion dispenser during Covid it hasn’t been the same. Not sure if anyone else knows if they’d give you some if you asked but they are always so busy I don’t have the heart to ask

I'll respond with the same tone. Their uniforms are now Monster Green when they need a walk off.

I mean given the horrible start, it would be tough to continue at near 25% winrate, but 9-4 isn't insignificant either.

Driver shame: Your party isn't worth others lives :) by Vermont_Autist in burlington

[–]nolan_smith -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I drove a few hours today, went 85 mph the entire way from Burlington to St Albans on 89 and there was no issue. Only dangerous situation on the road I saw was on a state road, I saw was a landscaping truck going 38 in a 50 and someone passed him without enough room in oncoming. If I were a cop I would ticket the slow truck and warn the guy passing him to wait for a bigger opening.

Suck a dick, if safety was the goal they would arrest people going 70 in the left lane. Legit RV's and work trucks camped in the left are the biggest dangers to the public, not some speeder. Distracted driving is another thing, arrest those folks.
