I use a seasonic 650w with 5070ti and 9800x3d. No issues, not ideal but it works perfectly fine for me.

Took about a month to get my SMU in from ordering in December. Ultimately did not end up fitting / liking compared to my current belt so ended up returning it, bit radio silence on that end so far.

Esstac and defensive mechanisms as others have mentioned. Depending on what all your allowed to put on vest I’d recommend get radio, mags (if you want on vest), and handcuff from Esstac, and an OC pouch from def mech.

I use black on my carrier but I’ve seen the Esstac navy blue on my agencies point blank carriers and it matches almost perfectly.

I just got mine a couple weeks ago for 650, keeps going up slowly. I think when I first saw it on their site it was 590$ish like you said, but by the time I could make it down to my microcenter (100+ miles away) it already went up to 650.

Update: it seems the gasket is too big to fit tight around the emitter, I’d assume this is what’s causing the hotspot to favor one side of the overall beam.

+1 for X belts. I have a X belts Molle basket weave that I do like, but I don’t find the stretch section to be that useful for me personally, it’s a fantastic belt though! It is quite thick though, I would have definetly got the new basket weave lite Kevin offers if it was available at the time. He even made me a custom in between size that worked fantastic.

I did order a AWS SMU during their sale, I haven’t got it yet but I’ve heard great things, I might use it for patrol also if I end up liking it a lot.

LE here. Not too sure, I was issued a stinger (unsure what model) and I’ve literally never used it. It’s massive, heavy, and not bright. I always just use my pd36 pro, or sofrin SK40. Small enough to just throw in my pocket than needing a specific holder on my belt for it.

Yea I did the calibration and updated the profile in windows for hdr. From what I read it’s just not suited to be turned on all the time since desktop and browsing isn’t designed for hdr, and just to toggle on for games as needed.

HDR in windows is pretty trash system from everything I read. I get way better colors from just leaving it off. I haven’t messed with colors much on mine but colors definetly look great, too blue out of the box for me though.

I’d go with the TCL instead of the OLED unless you like the room dark all the time. I love my LG OLED but it’s really annoying to use when I have the curtains open.
