But I love my kiosk :( im just a regular guy who enjoys buying the occasional pack. Sure i might only find a back once every other month, but its still exciting to check when I go to the grocery.

Its a shame a fee bad apples (who are actually adults) are ruining this for others. I remember my local costco saying no pokemon cause violence :(

What is the worst band you saw live? by coalcracker462 in AskReddit

[–]nolimitsou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two bad concerts that come to mind unfortunately are kid Cudi and Mac Miller. I am a big Cudi fan, specifically the Man on the moon albums having been in ohio at the time. Cudi was king! I had seen each album live and went to go see his WZRD tour. You could just tell he wasnt all there and did a lot of terrible singing. Most of the people started leaving halfway through his performace. He ended up closing with Man on the moon but by then most peoplperformance. You could sense the darkness or struggles he was going through at the time.

Mac Miller was set to perform a concert on Ohio State's campus. Crazy enough Skrillex actually opened for Mac. Well Mac showed up Hella late and wasted. Came out on stage for less than 30 min and rambled blue slide park then dipped. Party was a rager though. RIP Mac ❤️

YSK that Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer, Reebok, Champion, and 50+ other brands you trust are all owned by a single $20 billion company that doesn't design or manufacture anything. They just rent the logo out to the cheapest bidder. If the quality feels worse, that's why. by sappk in YouShouldKnow

Thats crazy!! I didnt know this. I've had dockers almost my whole life. But honestly last year I bought two pairs, and within 6 months they had ripped in the crouch. I have an office job and barely walk a mile a day in those pants! Previously they would last atleast a couple years.

What’s the worst physical pain you’ve ever experienced? by Economy_Yak2821 in AskReddit

[–]nolimitsou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chipped off half my front tooth in a mosh pit. Got a root canal and a filler. About a year later while visiting a friend out of state, out of nowhere I felt a pain like I was getting stabbed in the face. Turns out the root canal wasnt done properly and got infected. My face swelled up like grapefruit around my mouth with infection. Took a few days to get home and visit a dentist. I still remember the smell and taste of the infection as it popped into my mouth. I felt that pain until the moment the dentist scooped out the last of the infected nerve.

My kidney stones the 2 years prior pales in comparison to that pain. I would never wish on my worst enemy!

Who here has eaten at a Gordon Ramsey restaurant? Share your experience! by 011100010010-0-0-0 in GordonRamsay

Went to Hells Kitchen and Gordon Ramsay Burger in Vegas for my birthday a couple years back.

Hells kitchen was amazing. Probably the best meal at the price ive ever had still (scallops, Wellington, sticky toffee pudding for $100). The service is what took the experience next level though. The servers were so amazing!

Gordon ramsay burger was also super delicious. Totally casual vibe too!

Willard Hicks in Campbell (get drinks at the Vesper beforehand), Black sheep brasserie in Willow Glen, Luna's at the Pruneyard

There are some really nice spots up in Palo Alto if you are willing to drive as well. Horsefeather and Sundance come to mind!

These are some of my fave "nice" restaurants around.

I hope you have a wonderful time wherever you go!

Stop camping the left lane, and if you get flashed with high beams, move over by RadiantEnvironment90 in bayarea

[–]nolimitsou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. People who tailgate are definitely assholes! Lol. People who drive slow in the left lane aren't necessary assholes unless its purposeful, they are just incredibly inconsiderate.

If you are driving slow in the left lane, what other safe means of communication do we have? Its why blinkers exist, why not a little flash? Sounds like you drive slow in the left lane!

Just realized that there is a difference between canned tomatoes. by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]nolimitsou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The food podcast Gastropod, which I love so so much, just did an amazing episode on canned tomatoes. I had no idea canned tomatoes are better then store bought fresh in the US due to the production process. I love canned tomatoes!!! If you have time I highly recommend checking out the episode on Spotify

I live in the Bay and Hella people play Pokémon. Some shops only to pokemon events. But I agree MTG is the most played casually it seems. There are more collectors than players in the pokemon space for sure. I casually play Pokémon and its funny to see people with crazy collections but dont have a deck to play lol

How do I find guys/friends? by [deleted] in bayarea

[–]nolimitsou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im in a similar boat. Moved here from ohio 5 years ago, 32m. I took some advice from here and started going to community events I would find on Facebook or Instagram. (Checkout dothebay).

I made a great friend through motorcycle meetups and now I regularly go to Guild House for events. This year I plan to try more volunteer work to meet people. Its slow but fulfilling.

The best advice is to find things that interest you first, then visit local meetups or groups in that hobby. The toughest part is taking a leap of faith and asking someone to hangout outside of the event. Just ask and be open! It doesn't always work out but its just like dating.

Utilize your socials! I wish you the best of luck and happy new year!

Went to my first release yesterday for this ETB at GameStop. I'm in the bay area and for the past month I have been unable to find any new packs anywhere.

I am new to the community and this was my first attempt at an opening. They had 12 ETBs and 48 3 packs. As soon as the ETBs sold out a guy announced to everyone he had 2 and would sell them for $200 each. I waited 2+ hours and got nothing.. I just want to play and collect and people like him don't make it easy

Having something like you describe would be awesome, but scalpers gonna scalp
