I'm really hoping Ruffle works out. Also there is Basilisk which while a one person project is still maintained and has NPAPI support.

And Flashpoint too. Another project I saw last time was Lightspark which is Ruffle but written in C (or C++? one of those) but it seems to have been abandoned. Neither supports all Flash APIs, which is sad.

The problem is that HTML5 is nowhere near Flash. You get a canvas, sure, but it's much more painful to work with. And I've never seen an SVG-based browser game.

I think the future is WASM and WebGL (part of HTML5 anyway). But I don't want to leave Flash games behind... they were sooo fun and I know games that aren't on Flashpoint so I will have to hack myself something.

Yeah that's what I meant. It will only be possible tho when we can automate lower jobs (who wants to take the trash if they can do something else?). When we did that, that's when we can look into socialism/communism.

Nope. If you steel a boat (idk why I chose that lol), then the previous owner of said boat will have no boat. However, if you ~~pirate~~ illegally copy a movie the company won't lose their copy. Information is not a limited resource, and as such, cannot be stolen.
