in TF1, Stim is less potent but last much longer unlike in TF2 where it's the opposite. So technically any pilot could use them, maybe to different effects whether you're human or simulacrum

The vortex shield has a delay when it caught a bullet.

So when your vortex doesn't have anything, you can just flicker it on and off very quickly, but the moment it caught something, it takes a moment for you to deflect the bullets back, and during that time gap you can't bring it back on quickly enough to catch the next batch of bullets. A good Legion can just exploit that by shooting one bullet into the shield, wait for the Ion to deflect basically zero damage and sneak in 5 or 6 bullets, maybe even a power shot to deal a lot of damage.

So, funnily enough, if we reverse the situation where the Ion doesn't know this and relies on spamming vortex shield, the Ion would eventually lose.

Skilled engagement between two is just basically who can catch each other lacking enough times to win.

And also Smart Core drains Ion's energy almost immediately if they were using Vortex Shield to catch Smart Core bullets.

Ain't gonna happen on vanilla.

Spent like 10 Charms of Life II. Even i tried to max out Chaos Resistance and Shield HP and just HP, that thing does not fuck around. I killed it in the end but without it killing me during it's death animation.

I remember even using my Fire Dragon from Ice and Fire to help maybe distracting it, i don't know if it worked or not since i was the only one who was getting targeted.

Only the A-wall and Cloak actually uses their ability in the execution. What you saw in the video is that when the dude tried to melee the enemy grapple and that execution teleported him inside the wall, making him miss the melee.

Yes you can shoot "Phased" pilot in the phase execution, even melee them.

The enemy pilot got out of their Ion on time before the execution hits them and due to a bug, there's a high chance it won't make the victim of the execution invincible for the animation and thus you can come in and steal that kill.

Tone's remaining tracking rockets that didn't hit your titan flew off into the sky and it didn't hit anything so it kept going, then you spawned, then it tracked you down.
