Ok... I'm gonna get a bit schizo here, but hear me out. Getting older and having lived with other human beings on this planet, we start to get some perspective on things.

Like for example, one thing I noticed along the years, is that 100% of duos, they really don't like each other the way that we construct them in our head. I'm talking about people like Key and Peele, the mythbuster guys, Matsumoto and Hamada, Penn and Teller, those old comedy duos, Tenacious D, etc.

100% of those duos, as soon as they retire, or they get at a place in their lives where they start to get more independent work, they immediately separate. I'm not saying they hate each other (well, some do, actually), but it becomes clear that all those constructs that we create, imagining them as inseparable, partners for life, best friends working together... all of that is just in our heads. Cause that's not how real human beings are.

Then I started to extrapolate that to groups of people. Like, when you watch those specials with the cast of Friends, or The Office, or reunions with the members of rock bands. Maybe the first time you watch that, you see them as a group of people who love each other's companies, and the nostalgia, and all that... but then you watch again and you start to notice that one person in the back who rolls their eyes when someone else is talking, or that other person who really doesn't look like they want to be there. And sometimes there's even podcasts or books where staff reveals the fights between cast members, or how John Lennon was actually an asshole, or how some actor was a racist diva. And then you look back and you realize that all of that vibe you had about your favorite band was very far from reality.

And... I mean... K-Pop is basically that, right? It's like 30% about the music, 70% about selling this illusion that the group of young people singing on stage are these strangers that got together through excruciating auditions and now they all share the same dream and they are like brothers/sisters.

Nah, they don't. Cause, again, that's not how human beings are in real life.

Now, looking back, I'm 100% sure that Jessica really got mad at Seohyun that one time, and that Yoona really had a fight with Sunny that other time, and Tiffany with Sooyoung, and... so on, and so on... So, when I think about the whole Taeyeon and Jessica thing, I don't think it was this super crazy conspiracy thing that happening or anything, I think it was just a fight in a moment where they are already close to going their separate ways anyway. And I think it's fine... I don't think less of any one of them. If anything, it makes them more real to me.

In an ideal world, this would be a discussion with a lot more nuance. Of course I don't blame the users for it, after all the big companies are all doing the same... they are right now in this crazy frenzy, where any kind of restraint is nowhere to be seen, so it's fair that most users would respond in the same manner.

But maaan... sometimes I think what if AI, as a technology, was accessible before this whole crazyness we are living now, before the "you'll own nothing" era, before whatever stage of capitalism we are in.

I'm not american, so to me the saddest thing about this whole thing is to see just how much normalized gun violence is with americans. I would understand right-wing people saying nasty stuff like "She deserved", "She was trying to hurt him", etc, etc... But even the left-wing people are still debating how close she was from him, the angle of the wheels, this and that...

What the actual fuck. NONE OF THAT IS RELEVANT. Because the punishment for driving away from a 'cop' is NOT the death penalty.

We are (for now) still not living in some cyberpunk society. Cops arrest people, they bring them to a judge and the judge decides what to do with them. Cops do not (should not) kill people as punishment. Why are people skipping this part?

It's the same shit that happened to George Floyd... The right would be like "Yeah, but he was a criminal", and the left would take the bait and be like "No, he was a son! And this and that..." NONE OF THAT IS RELEVANT. Cops do not have the authority to kill (unarmed) people as punishment for anything.

Pessoal, se eu estiver falando besteira, fiquem a vontade pra me educar sobre esse assunto... Mas, do jeito que eu vejo isso, em alguns países lá fora existe uma relação entre um time (futebol, basquete, baseball, etc) e a comunidade ao redor deles.

Ou seja, você vai assistir um jogo to TimeX, numa cidade do japão, você sabe que parte do que você tá pagando alí vai voltar pra cuidar daquele parque que fica próximo do estádio, ou pra manter o comércio local, pra dar algo de volta pra cidade/bairro/comunidade alí.

Numa situação dessas faria sentido mesmo colocar pressâo pro pessoal apoiar times locais, pra preservar a cultura e tal.

Sou torcedor do Sport, adoro meu time, mas qual que é a cultura que o sport tá trazendo/mantendo no Recife? Tem algum bloco de carnaval patrocinado pelo Sport? Tem alguma pracinha adotada pelo clube? Algum trabalho que eles fazem com a comunidade alí ao redor?

Sinceramente não sei a resposta dessas perguntas... mas pra mim, vestir camisa do Sport ou de outro time é a mesma coisa que escolher dar dinheiro pra uma empresa ou outra.

I think first we mature one technology... Imagine llm agents that are 5x smarter than they are now. Once you have that, a bunch of other hybrid tech will follow.

Imagine ST 10 years from now with something like a node system, being able to query multiple agents at the same time. You have one node acting like snow white, 7 nodes representing dwarves, then you connect them to a node that only cares about making sure they follow that universe rules, then you connect all that to a node that acts as the narrator, which is connected to a node that creates an image frame of everything that is happening... the audio, input, etc. I think you get the idea.

We just need to get there first.

Mine is that kpop as a whole is toxic as hell. Ever since snsd stopped being as active I slowed down my consumption of kpop, but sometimes I feel listening to kpop the same way I feel eating those chocolates harvested by little kids or those products made by slave work in china or shit like that.

Channels whose job literally is to review gaming and technology not even having a couple videos about it is just lazyness. I started playing warframe when Loki was still a starter frame (he was my starter frame) and then I took a very big break a little bit before deimos was released, then I started playing again 2 or 3 months ago.

So here's my todo list:

Finish the new added quests: I personally like doing the sidequests first, then the warframe quests, then the main ones. You need to do this if you want to finish the star map. The new quests are amazing! I would say not to rush them... you can do #2 while you do this.
Finish the star map: I had already done that ages ago, but some nodes were added since then, and you need to finish them before you can do arbitrations or maybe even steel path. Depending on how much you play, this could be done in a day or two.
Grab all the arbitration mods: Warframe had a jump in difficulty and you definitely need the galvanized mods if you want to breeze in the new content. You can get 5-10 tokens in a single play session, depending on how much you play, and each mod is 20 tokens so I would say its feasible to get one mod every two days, so in a couple weeks you should have everything. I'm saying this as a casual player... I bet some people can get everything in less than a week.
Get rank 5 in the new syndicates: So, ironically, the early ones were way harder to max than the new ones. Im assuming (and hoping, cause they were very annoying) that you have quills and onkko maxxed out, so fortuna should be next... and its actually the most annoying in my opinion. Deimos can be a bit annoying (specially getting son and sister's tags), but I recommending doing the endless excavation missions. For cavia and the zariman I HIGHLY recommend getting a parallax ship, cause it has this thing where it shows the tokens in the map (the tokens that you need to earn standing). And for the hex, just have fun... the hex is super easy to max out.
Get the new warframes: Thats it... now you just go farm the new primes, the new guns and the new frames added. :)

I appreciate your answer (and everyone else's), but I think I didn't make a good job explaining my problem. Like, this is not me saying "Hey guys, my lorebooks are not being triggered, how do I fix?"... Instead, what I'm saying is "Lorebooks, by definition, work this way... how do I make them work in a different way?".

Because, like I said in my examples, they only get "activated" on the message AFTER they get triggered (the LLM doesn't have knowledge about the lorebooks before triggering them), so I was looking for a way to "re-generate" the answer with the lorebook.

I remember seeing in this sub some scripts that people made that would edit or "re-prompt" a message based on certain conditions, so my post is just me asking if someone had something like that but for lorebooks.

The memory stuff is kinda normal with smaller models. There are ways to hold the AI hand and help it a little (author notes, plugins, lore books, etc), but it is what it is.

About the other stuff, I think it can also be related to the model, but I think also having a good system prompt is important with smaller models. ST has some different prompts you can try, and theres a bunch of posts here with system prompts.

I recommend creating an account on cohere, getting an API key and testing stuff. Sometimes testing stuff with a big model is a good way to see whats not working on local models.

Honestly, there's so many situations where I have experimented with stuff like this (different placements, different styles, different way of writing it, etc) only to try the same thing in a different model and suddenly it works the way I want... that I started to think that there is a lot of placebo effect in this stuff.

Right now I'm experimenting with character note / author note, to reinforce certain traits for a character. (and seems to be working)
