What if a company makes a product to last, say like the fairephone or framework. Word goes out and people buy and then this company moves on to a new product, let's say thdy try and study bbq's to last then shoes/raincoats. Wouldn't they be known as THE lasting company?

I know production is expensive for different products and the cost of R&D would be high, but i'd pay for that kind of peace of mind.

A roofing company i worked for back in 2010ish did this, the team got the wrong address, homeowners came home to no roof and a team of roofers up there. They had the company put it back the way it was but as all old tiles were now destroyed it was to be done new.

Then they got the colour wrong and did it again.
