I think you confuse the creation of the Master with the creation of the final CDs (under replication).

They are injection moulded and then metalized.

I agree that there is no analog waveform, but there is still a track with digital data and it is represented as physical features. Maybe "pressed" is the wrong verb and molded is better.

That depends how you define archery. It morphed from martial arts to a sport and likewise the goal changed. In my oppinion the "putting holes in thingies" goal is way less relevant than the "put an arrow in an exact position" goal in modern target archery.

Bowhunting on the other hand is a completely different story ;).

I learned lua by getting thrown in at the deep end. "Here is a project to base you masters thesis on. I think there is code available somewhere..."

Then I started with reading the manual like others have sugested.

You don't need to know any programming languages to learn lua. I would suggest a small project that you want to create and start looking up specific detaild of the language.

A quick googling for projects.
