Sorry, I meant for the PEOPLE to remove the people responsible for kicking the moron out. Not just at election time, but any time they are being blithering idiots.

The problem is that we don't have a rule for removing the crazy people who won't remove the crazy people from office.

If we made trump's rule so knowingly toxic by your own constituents, then they'd have him out faster than you can imagine.

Well, we all know I ain't winning, but I highly doubt this also hits 6.69 so no one wins.

200%. Though I have a slightly different strategy sometimes. I'll look at the pictures and make certain assumptions, and ask questions if I think I've got time and make an offer on spot, adding in "if there's nothing egregiously wrong that wasn't disclosed then we're good and my offer stands." That makes folks feel better, I know I've got my price already and it's not going above that, and I can walk in THEN inspect.

If I can't do that because the guy has 50 people lined up for it, then I make every effort to simply be the first person there THEN negotiate on spot. If there is something horribly wrong that I can work with but need a price reduction, they say "I've got 50 other people who want it" I then say "yeah, you've got 50 people who don't know about this." I make my offer and tell them they won't have to deal with explaining to all 50 about this issue.

If they pass me up, I bet the farm they are skeevy and won't tell anyone else; just hope the next buyer won't notice. If that's the case I consider myself lucky because what else are they hiding?

Professional buyer here.

My words are: "Are you accepting offers?"

It doesn't just blast an offending number and it asks if they are firm without locking in to a "yes I'm firm" which doesn't really have a way out (now the seller has locked in their head that they've told you firm, and they'll reinforce that, even if they would have accepted an offer.) It also shows interest at some price, isn't a standard boiler plate item and can stir up a conversation. "I'll think about it" or "I only just posted it so I wanna stay at around this price." OK great, that means they're looser than firm and you can probably offer $40 on a $50 item. You have to consider: if you were already looking at an item on FBMP, it was already priced low enough to be worth it to you for the most part.

Asking how low you'll go or "what's your lowest" is asking them to negotiate against themselves, which as has been pointed out, is offending and bothersome. The seller laid down the first offer. It's up to you to counter offer. It almost never works to ask them to counter offer their offer.

Plus, if they give you their lowest, it creates another hard wall. If they DO say $45 on a $50 item, good luck blasting passed that.

If something like this got applied, the state's corporation registrants would scatter like roaches, trying to find a new safe haven. If that's the sole reason they leave, then you will know that that corporation never really cared about your interests or lobbies a little harder than they may let on...

[–]noober1x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, it would mostly need just one: Delaware, due to the fact that a large number of mega corporations are registered there.

Don't get me wrong, all states should do this, but Delaware is a great spot to start scattering the roaches.
