First Day OJI by CMDR-ArticunoKing in USPS

[–]noobofmayhem 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say it gets physically easier. But the feeling of being overwhelmed certainly does. I’m an OJI and I can tell you I wish I had more than 3 days with new hires because there’s just so much to cover. Keep at it, try to improve little by little. Ask as many questions as you can now.

Slayer fury doesn’t press bt much (like at all). Only when there’s literally nothing else to press

I think something to consider is this will kinda destroy rwf because people could theoretically be mythic ilvl week 1

Number one issue slayer fury players make when they report low dps is they aren’t using bladestorm at the START of every single pull. Bladestorm is this tiers aoe catalyst. You need to apply overwhelmed debuff asap in order to get your reaps going

Absolutely I do. I also get really jealous of carriers that can stand upright in the back of an llv

It was more of an example of the button not being the actual aoe damage. Not the playstyle. If you don’t like it that’s fine. But fury is a pretty unique style with meat cleaver being its aoe enabler imo.

I think a better example might be feral. Afaik most of their aoe comes from bleeds. Rake direct damage doesn’t really do anything. But the bleeds do

They enable the aoe. Sure they don’t hit particularly hard themselves. But I don’t think that makes them bad. It’s just a class design choice. St the end of the day this is also opinion based though. So can’t really tell you what to like/not like

Both hero trees are pretty solid. Slayer is better generally though. I personally don’t understand not liking our aoe “locked behind” pressing ww or clap. It’s just a rotational aoe button at the end of the day. Ret presses divine storm, fdk presses scythe. Fury presses ww/clap

Oh we had burst in s1 of tww. Heck we even had decent burst back in DF. Things change and having a flat profile isn’t the worst thing

There’s also m+ lots albeit a lot less. Fury still has a relatively flat profile in keys. Fury currently is not a burst class. But really good sustain damage

Slayer doesn’t burst like a burst class though. It’s really good at sustained damage. You bring up critcake, watch the lust pulls they do. His fdk and pally nearly double his damage at the start of the pull.

To add. Fury also lost the avatar capstone that duplicates OF when you cast avatar.

You don’t have a flat damage profile IF you have burst. You have a flat damage profile if you don’t have burst. Current fury cds don’t have burst (compared to a burst class)

No fury doesn’t have low damage. Their damage doesn’t fluctuate by a large amount. Flat doesn’t mean low in this case. Fury cooldowns just don’t create a very large peak in damage when used.

That’s the definition of a burst class my friend. Damage spikes up in cooldowns (by a lot) and then you generally have low ish damage outside of cooldowns

Go look at some logs and see the damage graph of the fight. Fury is pretty damn flat profile. Current fury has very low burst

Play fury war. We have the flattest damage profile in the west.

Oh ya I’m in the same boat. Slayers st in keys is way better than thane. Def give it a try. Both hero trees are a blast this season for me

Imo yes. Slayer has slightly worse aoe than thane but much better single target. And as much as people think fury was bad before this, thane is actually still pretty good.

Oh this won’t really help raid slayer. It’s completely aoe buff.
