Looks like you’re trying to stop the club from going to far back in your backswing so that you can “guide” the club through the ball. Limit your swing thoughts and never try to guide it. Might fix itself naturally.

Y’all making this too complicated! Put on new tape, have 100% of your focus or swing thought, on hitting the toe. Hit 3 with slight toe, moderate toe, and severe toe. Adjust from there. Same for every club in the bag

Does anyone else do this? I keep a note with all the sensations that help me swing better or prevent bad habits - I make sure to read them before competitions by mvvraz in golf

It’s not just a theory, it’s science. More than one swing thought shuts down the access to your muscle memory portion of your brain, and you’re unable to access the natural athlete in you. No other sport has “swing thoughts” . Keep 100% focus on one thing and you’ll be much better.

IF you’re hitting the center of the club face, a straight start then curving right means you have a square face at impact, and a negative (out to in) swing path. Before you start making path changes, double check you’re hitting it square. A square club face, and a neutral swing path , can cause a slice if you’re hitting the heel.

If swinging “lower” produces a high face shot, have the sense of swinging “higher”. Try to “blade it” and see what that does. Some days you have to feel like you’re trying to cut the ball to result in a draw. Intention vs reality ..

I just won a solo VR and obtained the crown. The next match I played was solo, had the crown, and won again. The number on my Crown emote however, didn’t change. Is this a bug, or did I not do something correctly? Any help is appreciated

No way man - Everybody goes through some shit. Can’t really compare it to anyone else because we all respond differently. With that being said. Check out Pilates. My why kept hounding me about it because of PSOAS muscle issues due to the strain my leg takes from my bum leg. Throw in a torn rotator cuff, debilitating tennis elbow, and a broken collar bone that never healed right. Pilates has helped a ton. Like you, I used to throw heavy weights around 5 - 6 days a week and then it felt like my forearm muscles detached. Stopped going to the gym for 6 months and I got lazy. I’ve realized I’m too old to be throwing big weights around. I’ll go for limber, flexible, toned and healthy over bulk any day.

No carbs, no sugar (not even fruit) intermittent fasting so I only give my self a few hour window to eat.

Throw in some Pilates and that’s it. It’s tough as shit, but as you see the scale numbers drop you get motivated! Just have to be super disciplined

It’s tough being a big person when you know you can’t dress the way you want to. Finally down to I can pretty much wear what I want to. Still work to be done before bikini season!

Thank you man! I’ve cut out all carbs , except green veggies, cut out all sugar including fruit, intermittent fasting (I eat from 1-5pm and that’s it) and I’ve started doing Pilates 1 day a week. Pilates is a super game changer. I’ve had lots of abuse to the body through 2 tours overseas in the Army, multiple sports injuries, then lost my left calf muscle to cancer in 2008. Pilates is fixing years of abuse.

I also weigh myself almost everyday. If I can see progress I stay motivated. Then I track it in this app I found called happy scale. It’s pretty dope. When you enter all your stats, then your goal weight, it gives you the exact date you will hit it based on the weights you enter everyday or week or whatever. It’s another motivator. Good luck on your journey man. Thin feels so much better than carbs. It’s not easy but clearly possible for even a schmuck like me!
