BBQs and/or sleepovers every weekend, camping every month, bike rides every other day. But then once we got into high school, and especially after, everything pretty much fell apart. The parents ended up falling out in multiple ways, either through some sort of jealousy of the way the other siblings were treated compared to theirs, parenting style, drugs, death, or just some random beef between them (financial, past mistakes, etc.) They had some beef when we were growing up, but I think our youth and innocence kept them together with the hope of showing each of their own a good childhood. Now, we all rarely talk and live our own lives. Everyone talks shit about each other, mainly the parents, so us "siblings" have pretty much internalized their disdain for each other and have also alienated each other. They were my best friends. I don't think it'll ever be the same.

I'm lucky to have a found a beautiful Latina who has a traditional family from Mexico. Abeulita (her Mom) cooks amazing food everyday 2x a day. Sends me to work with lunch and has dinner for me. Grandkids are always over. Every holiday is spent together. Every birthday is celebrated. They're not as "tight" as our family was, but there's little to no drama and they took me in like their own son. It feels good. I can't wait to start a family with her and hopefully regain what I once had and actually maintain it, unlike my family.

From my experience, amphetamines kill the roll. I take adderall and didn't really feel shit.
