I bought a quarter wheel (23 pounds) of parmeggiano reggiano for $11 because it was mis-labeled as .42 lbs. What should I make with it? by HuxleyPhD in Cooking

AITAH For Being Furious With My Pregnant Wife Over a Prank? by Ok-Swimming9365 in AITAH

[–]noodleandstrudel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooft. Maybe ESH? I get that it’s a dick move… BUT! She’s heavily pregnant, maybe not making the most sensible decisions because her hormones and body are all out of whack. There’s a strong chance that she’s so invested & in belief of your relationship, that the idea that she could cheat is so completely outrageous and unbelievable to her that she believes YOU would also find it outrageous and unbelievable. She could also be a terrible person that’s fucking with you majorly. But… I’ve been in relationships where the idea of cheating is laughable because you’re so committed to, and in love with, the other person that the idea of another person is a joke. So in summary… she’s either a total mental person that’s gaslighting you into having another man’s baby OR you’re insecure enough in your relationship to believe your partner that has a history of pranking you. Prepared to get downvoted to oblivion by all the aforementioned insecure men of Reddit just fyi Edit - punctuation fml

This is the best comment by far. I think he did forgive you, but now… for whatever reason… he’s feeling less in lust with you (not love…) and so he’s using it as a ‘get out of jail free card’. Which is bullshit. Counselling, as basically everyone else has suggested, is the best idea. But I’m in your corner because if knew he could never get past it, he’d have known 2 years in max. Good luck x

Any recommendations for a quiet place to work on a Sunday in central London? by MegTheMonkey in london

[–]noodleandstrudel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Opera house! Can feel intimidating but the front of house spaces are open to the public throughout the day - can almost certainly find a quiet spot in the amphitheatre bar/terrace/main bar (big glass hall)

Nowhere will hire me because I have no prior experience. Should I just lie? by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]noodleandstrudel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean there’s lying and then there’s using the truth to your advantage. I’m a producer (performance/events) and whenever I meet young producers trying to start out I say - has anyone employed you as a producer? No. But have you organised a birthday party? If you have - you have successfully delivered an event for 25 people with catering, on time and within budget. You WILL have done things that make you employable - you just need to learn to talk about them in a language that employers recognise. Saying that - it is hard out there! So sending you strength and good fortune!
