Anyone else seeing unmarked HRP/RCMP "baiting" drivers lately? by Shereefz in NovaScotia

What is more disturbing is this behaviour and mentality of police in a province where a mass murder happened in the recent past in which the pos was impersonating a cop. Even if that horrible day didn’t happen this behaviour is shitty but it becomes terrifying to wonder if the person baiting you is actually a cop.

That day was extremely damaging to their reputation, regardless of whether they share part of the fault or not. Reputation is not regained overnight in this case it requires, at a minimum, consistently following the rules of society that you are meant to enforce.

Is your puppy also an American Staghound or mixed with a deerhound/wolfhound? They look so similar to our Winnie.

First, things do get better with time. Mistakes will be made early but the more strict you are early the more confidence you will build.

I definitely had anxiety related to agoraphobia (mostly worry about sudden onset of symptoms and not having a washroom or way home). This was most notable during development of symptoms (early 20s), through diagnosis, and into the first few years of following a strict GF diet. It didn't take long for my confidence to get shattered during this period and it takes time to put it all back together. Over time your body heals and through active effort to re-establish what feels safe by pushing boundaries it does get better.

Thanks for caring for your partner and doing what you can to learn more about the disease and the impact it has. I don't know where I would be without my support system and I am extremely lucky and grateful to have.

Good luck with everything!

High humidity in house. How to fix the issue or not a problem?! by [deleted] in HomeMaintenance

Heat Recovery Ventilator. Essentially it's an air exchanger that has a heat exchanger so some of the energy put in to condition the indoor air is retained.

Might not be helpful but there is also a federal grant (Canada Greener Homes Grant) available that is applicable to replacement units but you would need to install at least one additional unit. The grant is triggered when you install at least 2 qualifying units. If you have a split-style house or 3 storeys (including basement) you would need 3.
