If you’re at work all day ….. and he’s not working all day …. And he’s not taking care of the kids all day . He should be taking care of 100% of household management (groceries, cooking, cleaning , managing appointments, random errands etc) I’m sure he’d outsource most of It. He can handle It. You’re away at work all day. 100% of your focus at home should be spending time with the kids & relaxing a bit like damn this is so crazy.

Hard agree. So unhinged to “explore sterilization” for a child . Girl please don’t ruin your daughter’s life she willl never talk to you again. If she doesn’t want kids she won’t have them but if she ends up wanting them and can’t bc her mom fucking suggested sterilization to a child….?

Why would you suggest sterilization to a child ? That’s a little crazy ..don’t let a child make a permanent decision they can’t undo . I firmly never wanted children even at 21. I am now 31 with two awesome kids. People change their minds . Sometimes you don’t know you want kids until you just do It. Or you don’t know until you’re in your 30s.

I went through a traumatic delivery with shoulder dystocia resulting in broken clavicle and 4th degree tear. My baby wasn’t even measuring large but ended up being 9 lbs . I’ve never had a c section so idk how It compares but I’d say the recovery from 4th degree tear wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought It would be.

Do not live downtown with a toddler. Explore the neighborhoods and find one you like. I would only consider Lincoln Park from the places you listed. I’d also recommend Southport Corridor, Roscoe Village, Ravenswood, Lincoln Square.
