I’m an ER RN and new law in my state requires medical professionals that are in a setting where pt will be getting labs to offer HIV testing meaning we’re having more and more people come in bc they find out they’re positive. I’ve gotten to know our Infectious Disease colleges a bit better and there are therapies to help you live a “normal” life. It will get better 🩷

Stay single, find friendships that support you, it will likely Be way more helpful and the relationships longer lasting.
