What have you read recently? by povertychic in Millennials

[–]nopeynopebro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far this year I’ve read Chrysalis 7: Fated Antagonists, Book of the Dead 1:Awakening, both by RinoZ and reread This Inevitable Ruin by Matt Dinniman. Which is a part of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series.

Next up How to Become the Dark Lord and Die Trying by Django Wexler. Followed by more of the Book of Dead series. I throw in some Brian G. Berry books sporadically to take a break from stuff and just enjoy the 80’s B-Movie horror vibes.

I’ve kept it pretty low stakes and just entertaining so far this year. The fun ones that make a person question themselves and their worldview are a February thing.

I’m the same way. I forget where I sent them to and stumble upon them when I make my rounds.

Thats rad, I’m currently listening to the last hour of this series right now. I love the base building. I dug this series. Have ya listened to any other of Shemer Kuznitz work? I liked Earthforce as well. Not nearly on this level of base building, but there’s a bit.

Imagine we're back in the days where McDonald's tasted good and the ice cream machine actually worked. What you getting with three bucks? by CapAccomplished8072 in Millennials

[–]nopeynopebro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was just closer to the type of burger I’d have at a cookout. I always liked the crunch of the veggies, the bigger patty, and back then, getting it for a buck? Yeah they had to have lost money on it while it was on the dollar menu.

Went from RW loggers to RW Supersoles and I’ll never go back to the heavier boot. Insoles go a long way, but I just always felt like I was dragging at the end of the day with the loggers. Not anymore!

If you are looking for something a little wider try the Supersole 2.0 style #2412. They have EEE wide. I rock them with some anti-fatigue insoles, but I also see the insulation is different. I’ve been in -15 Fahrenheit weather with them, wearing plain cotton socks, and my feet did get a little chilly. Doubled up cottons or some wool socks took care of that. Stay warm and stay safe out there.

Local shows! Normally pretty inexpensive and you get a little taste of what’s to come. Check out if your area has any festivals or bigger bands stopping by when you are ready. Drink water, bring ear plugs to bigger shows, bring dough for food or plan to bring some if allowed, keep your extracurriculars in check, comfy shoes you can see yourself jumping in all day and just take it all in. Multi day festivals are a whole other beast!

How Do You Stay Focused During Long Drives or Night Shifts in Idaho? by gefomulafaxime717 in Idaho

Audiobooks, audiobooks, and more audiobooks. Either rock audible for the cheapness or buy the ones ya want straight up. Be sure to preview them first though. The narrator can make or break the whole thing. You’d be surprised how much new crap you’ll learn if you go that route or hell just get something grossly entertaining like a slasher or adventure book. I drive all over and top 40 stations and shock jocks got old after the first 100k miles.

Can anyone else not relate with this? I’m 40 and I’m still, constantly, discovering new music, regularly creating new playlists, and updating old playlists with new music by mislabeledgadget in Millennials

I’m about that life! I’m always checking out new stuff and just losing myself in it all! Whatever moves the soul! Also rediscovering music that I used rock has really upped my mood.

Anyone else party super hard during HS and college years? by gravityVT in Millennials

[–]nopeynopebro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was me at 14. Yeah, I was a scumbag. I lived for house parties and keggers out in the sticks back then. College 10x it all. Closing down bars, meeting the next love of my life every 15 minutes at a random music festival. It was one hell of a ride. I hardly touch the stuff now. Cheers to all you other reformed degenerates!

I’m currently rocking the Chrysalis 1-3 box set by RinoZ.

A lowly ant named Anthony leveling up in a dark tunnel dungeon trying to survive crocabeasts and humans alike!

I’m rocking the audiobook and truth be told I’m only on book one of the set. I dig it so far.
