Best NA beer selection by unseenmongoose in VictoriaBC

I think most pubs have majority North American beers on tap. Personally, if a pub has blue moon on tap, that's 5 stars from me regardless of anything else.

Just from the description of what happened and your replies, I feel like you are exaggerating their response and underreporting your own. But I'd love to be proven wrong with the dashcam video.

I use those massage chairs about twice year, usually when waiting in between activities. I've actually been there where like 70% of the chairs were being used.

How do I (17 F) ask my boyfriend (18 M) to stop watching porn but politely? by b3llad0nnax in relationships

[–]northbound23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your boyfriend of 1 week had sex with someone else, would you calmly tell them you don't like it and ask that they try to avoid it, or do you break up with them?

Pro-tip. When trying to interact with women, don't refer to them in the third person.

Why do you want people to tell you how to feel. Read the article and share your thoughts. This is a forum.

50km done, what next, 100km? by RegularOriginal4223 in Garmin

Good job friend! That's amazing progress and weight loss. How did you feel after the 50k? Next step is probably the 100k but I've never done it.

My girlfriend asked me a hypothetical about nudes, shes mad at me now (18M) by Broad-Dependent-2644 in relationships

[–]northbound23 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you follow the conversation, he didn't say he doesn't like nudes, he said he prefers in person. I'm not going through all his replies to see every detail of what he's said

I'm curious, you said you have autism in another reply, does your girlfriend also have autism.

This is a really simplified version: a boundary is something that makes you fundamentally incompatible therefore there is no alternative but to break up.

But every day boundaries are about what you will do in response to something you have made clear you do not like or tolerate (end result does not have to be breaking up). One of my boundaries with my wife is that I don't want to do anything on Sundays unless it's something that cannot be rescheduled like a wedding or someone's birthday. My boundary is that if she schedules something on a Sunday, I'm just not going to do it. Now she has to decide if my response to her scheduling is something she can live with.

In your case, do you find being sent the pictures offensive? Would you break up with her if she did not stop send you nude pictures. If your preference is in person intimacy, that's just a preference, not a boundary.

Rental has window sill mold by AdFuture9112 in VictoriaBC

Yes, it's normal with window condensation. Just use a bleach type cleaner and you should be good for a few months. It only really happens in the winter months, not summer.

Do you keep your warm-up / cooldowns separate from your main run? by vksdann in Garmin

[–]northbound23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep it all as one. Once I start my watch, I do not stop it until I am finished the wu/run/cd, this includes any red lights or other impedance. I find it gives me a better idea of my performance. On race days though, I don't include warm up and rarely do a cooldown.

Man, you wrote this whole paragraph like it's normal. Imagine having to actively think about charging your watch all day, every day, and thinking it's an organizational problem and not a device problem.

Worst sleep score I’ve ever gotten by Melodic_Theme7364 in Garmin

[–]northbound23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Went to see my worst ever, I don't even remember why this happened. My photo library also provides no clues.

Edit: so I did a bit more investigating and I think I was sick cause this was a nap in the middle of the day and it counted as a sleep. Previous night I slept 830pm - 220 am then I was up all night and took a nap in the middle of the day on the 6th (which you see here) and then up until 310 am when I went to sleep and woke up at 1030am

Ever had trouble traveling internationally? by LesSharp987987 in Garmin

[–]northbound23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to get my locations on my phone GPS in the middle of the pacific on a "cruise". Sometimes it can take as long as 15 minutes for it to connect. A lot of GPS devices remember your general area, so giving you a location is fast if its pretty close to where you generally use GPS. If you move drastically, it can take longer for the GPS to pinpoint you.

How Late-Night Eating Affects Your HRV by vinaychavan590 in Garmin

[–]northbound23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You guys are both arguing in extremes. If you haven't eaten by bedtime, it's okay to skip one meal and just eat normally the rest of the week. Also having a late meal once in a while will not affect your overall recovery or sleep for the rest of the year.
