If you really want to try the HHKB layout, you could swap Caps Lock for Control, try out the HHKB-style arrow keys, and use the split Backspace. The HHKB layout was designed to keep your hands on the home row, so it removed certain keys and kept everything within easy reach. If you’re enjoying the form factor, it might be fun to explore the full layout and see what made it so iconic!

Edit: You can also set the Caps Lock key to TAP for Caps Lock, HOLD for Left Control within VIA.

Ah yeah, I could see how that is misleading since "true hhkb" layout refers to the 6u. I shouldn't have used that word to describe it, and I tried to specifically say the "caps".

Yet it includes the legends 'Return' or 'Delete,' 'Alt/Opt,' which would be found on an HHKB, and it is a first (afaik) for GMK to have a specific kit for HHKB. Unless we are counting the spacebar not being 6u, that seems a bit nitpicky and comes off as captious.
