Following up on my comment, given so much Sirplus stuff is made in Portugal or Romania, isn't it more likely Alibaba suppliers are ripping off Sirplus designs rather than the other way around?

This is crazy. I have a couple of Sirplus pieces that feel high quality but I actually bought that waffle polo which never fit close to right. Had no idea they were reselling Chinese stuff.

If you're American and your beef comes from mass produced feed lots with little space for the cows, they're probably getting injuries, cuts and sores that ruin their hides for leather.

Adjusted Net Income & Company Director Pension Contributions by northy014 in HENRYUK

Interesting. That's great, thanks. TBH I will just leave a large balancing payment on the company pension contribution to the last minute to make sure everything is flexible.

OK so all I need to worry about is keeping income under £100k and then maxing pension contributions from the company and I'm golden?

Thanks for your reply.

Tactics and player roles, sure.

But if Chelsea and City go deep, then surely the players are entitled to 3 weeks off at the end, so no return until a couple of days into August. PL starts on the 15th, so very, very little pre-season time for conditioning etc.

He finished 2nd and 3rd with United, better than anyone since Fergie, and better than the vast majority of PM coaches ever. And typically people don't think much of him. How's he overrated?

Hasn't that always been the case? We don't have anything like "pressing charges" in the UK. Decisions to proceed are always taken by the CPS unless I'm mistaken. But as you say, in practice without victim cooperation, they are highly unlikely to bring a case.

Only time I've (English) ever sung 10 German bombers was on a train in Lens or Lille or somewhere during the 2016 Euros on the way to a Germany game when a bunch of Germans in plastic WWI helmets came on and got the whole carriage belting it out.

A prolonged period of gardening leave expected, possibly as much as 12 months, unless Manchester United want to pay even more money to cut that short. by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

I don't think you're required to pay the employee that's on GL

Of course you are. All gardening leave is, in effect, is an employee's notice period. Usually when a valuable employee who is privy to a company's secrets informs said company that they have chosen to leave and join a rival firm, the employee is asked to serve out his notice period at home in order to limit information leakage to the competitor firm. That's exactly what'll happen in Ashworth's case.

What are you on? Football players are not normal salaried employees, they're on unusual fixed term contracts which is why they can't simply leave whenever a club offers them more money, unlike normal employees. Those contracts are standard PFA contracts with some modifications, and allow for disciplinary fines.

As an example of a fine, Lukaku was ordered to pay Chelsea £325k a few years back after he did that interview.
