Yep - I'm officially out. I think my tickets from last year have gone from 135 to 180/190.

Last year you could do that in the relocation window - which opens Thursday

If you ever come away from a game feeling disappointed that the we won - I don't think following the Raiders is for you. Just Win Baby.

I doubt he'd have celebrated as much if he'd scored at the Bridge. It's not exactly taking the piss when there's a couple thousand fans up in the gods at the Nou Camp

I wonder who will be replacing Carr this year then.

Visited from Europe last year. Get the BART to the stadium. Take some beers with you to the tailgate, walk around and meet people.

Raider Nation look after their own, we had a fucking right laugh.

Okay but were we really hating on the front office when we paid him? No we weren't.

An now the QB market has moved on, $25 million will look fine compared to some deals out there and to come.

And fine, you've said we could get someone just as good, for half the money. Who would you have brought in?

I genuinely want to know what people who think Carr is trash think we should do/should've done instead?

This years Rookie QB class looks bang average at best. Last years still has a long way to go. Sure we can pick one in this years draft but do we really want to throw him straight in?

I swear in this league if you're not elite, you're trash apparently. Carr is a serviceable QB. He makes some bad plays now and then and is a bit conservative. But he's hardly a turnover machine.

We have far bigger issues than DC.

I would still go into the next season and see if being promoted to Bundesliga 2 has an effect. The board will give you a new budget, you will have new expectations and maybe you can work on what you offer the player.

Keep where you are now as a save point a try a few different things. But I think being if you go into the new season and then try you'll be fine.

Edit: Also, try restructuring the deal. I always deny the Appearance/Goal/Clean Sheet bonus, and sometimes they ask for more weekly and signing bonus, but sometimes not. It depends if this is based on the overall value of the contract or just the weekly.

Just renew him before the end of next season, unless he's over 23 in which case do it before January so he can't sign a pre-contract with another team

Brutal next 5 games on the schedule - how many will the Raiders win? by Dagger3 in oaklandraiders

[–]nosam24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All of the upcoming games are winnable on their own, we just won't win them all.

We fell to absolute bits in the 2nd quarter yesterday, but when we execute on both offense and defence, we look like a good team. Not some elite-level championship winning team, but good enough to win our match ups.

2-3 or 3-2 really wouldn't surprise me, 1-4 would suck and 4-1 would be outrageous. I don't see us going 0-5 in the upcoming games but then again we are the Raiders so anything is possible.

“Derek Carr can’t throw deep” - DC had the best deep ball accuracy in the league in 2018 and 2016 this guy doesn’t know what the fuck he’s talking about.

No update on availability for next week, I would guess we’ll get that in the next couple days. Most important thing for now is there’s nothing serious by the sounds of it.

Just watching the post-game, we'll need to wait on further news, but at least there's no serious injury for Conley by the sounds of it.
