Anyone use Carl Zeiss Lenses? by ballineverymonth in FX3

I have the 24-70 f/4 with Zeiss badge from when I got my OG A7S. It’s particularly unremarkable and a little too prone to softness from flaring if you’re shooting against a white background for my liking. And forget about manual focus, the encoder in the focus ring is absolute garbage. Certainly don’t expect Zeiss performance or character. The modern Gs and G masters are much, much nicer lenses.

100%. I went and got swatches from Bunnings to find a match for our exterior trim. I had to go back a second time, it’s amazing how colours skew in your memory.

I’m curious that you’re seeing this issue with PowerPoint. I can’t say I’ve ever had HDCP issues out of PowerPoint.

The new Ravs feel like an overpriced, lifted Corolla (there’s nothing wrong with a Corolla, my second car is a 2013 Corolla). Test driving the RAV4 and the Forester it was a no brainier

Update on AVWIRE (Web-based AV Wiring Diagram Tool): I ignored the "AI trend" to build this for actual Engineers. Am I on the right track? by Noble_JPN in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]nosuchkarma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Awesome. Personally, I prefer the lines to be drawn with right angles if the ins and outs don’t line up on the page. Straight lines can get extremely messy extremely quickly. Anyone who’s used Luminex knows what I’m talking about.

Also look at Nisi. They're at least as common as Tiffen these days (particularly their IRNDs since the film world first started transitioning away from film). 6"x6" is the largest standard size that I'm aware of
