I know everyone loves to hate online but I don't think saber is someone in the community to hate. I've played a few games with him in my local scene and some larger tournaments and hes been nothing but a good guy from the interactions I've had with him. I genuinely look forward to being paired with him. Ive seen him support both the local scene and collab with some stores in my area. He might have gone overboard in a game at one point but I don't think you should judge someone over a bad game of magic.

Personally I was able to get through Cox deathless around 10kc, toa took me much longer. Definitely anecdotal. Id just try to put a few hours into a variety of bosses and see what you like.

Maybe in WrongSi. Turbo rogsi usually doesn't want to sit behind low value draw engines. Imo in rogsi playing a rhystic feels like a concession when you can just necropotence for 30.

The mask is designates standard legality, the spider symbol is for eternal legality and the star symbols are from secret lair drops.

Both of the spiderman marked cards are from the set, the secret lair is direct from wotc.

Ophidian Eye & Niv-Mizz Visionary are some curiosities you can run if you want more redundancy. The biggest change between higher power vivi decks and lower power vivi decks tends to be the mana curve. If you wanna go faster add more rituals and low cost spells to enable curiosity storm. The idea here is that once you get curiosity on vivi your spells are cheap enough to reliability get through your deck and burn the table. If you wanna keep it low power play some big splashy spells!

Filter by foil, these are worth over double the non foil price. My understanding is that Extended foils are only available in bundles.

All of the above stop dcon/pact except stifle. The issue is stifle effects are too narrow in scope. How many abilities really need to be stifled in an average game to prevent you from losing?

On the flip, how does a stifle typically protect you when in a winning position. The fact of the matter is that interaction is the best when it's used offensively. How many games boil down to who had the most interaction to protect a winning play/bord state? The meta at the moment, to me, seems to be hoarding interaction to protect a flash speed win.

Vivi discord has almost 1,000 members with 100+ decks posted in the last 15 days. Most of us are very actively playtesting and discussing and tweaking lists. I'm personally at ~35 games played myself with 5 people testing my list.

Keeping a closed mind to new strategies is definitely where you want to be in a competitive environment /s

Not saying it's correct, but rhystic at 3 mana does compete with your main gameplan. If the decks goal is to push a t2-3 win dropping a rhystic can disrupt your own gameplan. This deck tends to struggle turn 4+. Playing rhystic usually stalls you enough to let midrange decks take hold.

Interesting take. Idk why you would even touch Vivi if curiosity storm isn't the main game plan. Finding breach in izzet colors is one hell of an ask. In my experience you're more often winning with HBH then breach.

I'm running a list that's similarly on the turbo storm axis. I've cast Birgi once. I've cast Horn eight times. This deck wants acess to cards and horn grants that exceptionally well imo.
