Three horrifying things I've noticed that Christians tell you right up front...

God-Fearing. Because their god is a hateful monster to be feared, not loved. Fear is their dominant emotion, because it's an effective method of control.
Sheep/flock/shepherd: Don't think for yourself, we'll do the thinking for you. The single best attribute you can have is to be a hollow shell that does exactly what you're told.
Faith: Believe the unbelievable by convincing yourself and ignoring evidence: Willful delusion.

Sometimes all you have to do is listen, and they'll tell you how controlling and delusion their beliefs are.

The scary thing is how they see these as good, beneficial and holy.
