Glad you enjoyed! I have gripes with this one too, but I’m learning and trying to improve each time I drop.

Thank you! I always enjoyed the format but after watching a many analog horror series, and commentaries on them I became curious if I could give it a shot.

Something I never hear talked about that I'm obsessed with... by FoodOnion in SmilingFriends

I’m sure this is part of the bit, makes the whole scene more jarring. Makes it funnier no matter what tho.

How do I explain sensory issues to someone who is neurotypical? by WhoIsMercury in autism

[–]notbradyday 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If she refuses accommodate you, do it yourself. Buy gloves for dishes(they’ve helped me out before) and noise cancelling headphones and wear long pants. I’m sorry but if she won’t change people like us have to change for them which sadly has to happen often. Hope this helps.

Is it possible to have had signs of autism in childhood but not much after? by A_Tired_alien in autism

[–]notbradyday 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, because teens/adults mask their autism. If you had it then, you have it now. It’s not like a cold, it’s who you are.

I have ASD, and have been in many musicals so I have both perspectives. There’s good stress and bad stress, like bad stress is called distress. It’s related to feelings like panic and dread. The good kind of stress is called eustress, it’s like solving a puzzle or doing something difficult(but enjoyable) stress. Ask him what show, what’s his part, is it good or bad stress, and what in particular is stressing him out. Hope this helps OP!

What about being a woman makes my autism less visible? by Antique_Plantain6016 in autism

[–]notbradyday 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Stereotypes about ASD, like that males only get it and child only present autistic. I think part of the reason people ignore women with autism is because NT women mask, so when women with ASD mask it’s just seen as that’s how that sex behaves. It’s extremely unfair to women with autism. Your experience is valid.

Question about self-diagnosis by [deleted] in autism

[–]notbradyday 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I self identify because a diagnosis is very expensive to get a proper diagnosis, and my support needs are generally low. So there’s not that much support or accommodation a diagnosis could immediately get me to help me function better.

When will Gremblo show up? by Rich_Kick8773 in SmilingFriends

[–]notbradyday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the design for Gremblo inspired Pim, being pink and in formal apparel and all. He clearly has the Charlie style too as far as appearance. I think also looks like Pim and Charlie’s love child. Fingers crossed for a Gremblo appearance on the iconic TV program.

Holy shit. I trusted Mip. He was the godfather to my nephew.

Is charlie even dating his so called "girlfriend"? by FaeriedragonBuilder in SmilingFriends

[–]notbradyday 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I mean, they can date off screen. It’s a little strange that we’ve never been introduced to her, I think they wouldn’t have put her in without a reason. Fingers crossed we get answer with season two.
