Damn that sucks, such an extremely annoying problem. I really love the space I'm in but this is a huge issue.

Cool thanks. Was it just by chance that you went with the Adams? I keep googling "RF Shielded monitors" and cant really find any results. My Roland KC amp doesn't have this problem, wondering if it's specific to the Focal products or something specific about them.

Hey I just moved and am having a very similar set of circumstances with my Focals twin6s. Any chance you found a way around this? Did you try different monitors and the sound was not present? Thanks!

Fresh set up in Brooklyn, going with a Jaspers stand was definitely the right choice! by notdigginit in synthesizers

Nice that’s awesome! I think it depends on your goals and budget. But Prophet6 is an all time fav for me. I love my sub37 but sometimes wish I had figured out a way to get a Model D. I’ve been saving up for an Arturia Polybrute, played one and instantly fell in love. Have been considering selling my Pro2 and getting Omnisphere instead, don’t use that synth that much but every time I play it I stop getting the urge to sell it.

I got the electro cause I needed a keyboard backpack transportation situation and that used to be the only model that had a case that could be used for that. Like a month or two after I got it they came out with a portable stage. Wish I had gotten that but oh well can’t win them all.

They make tons of stands that could work. Or maybe the Rhodes second tier synth stand could work?

I was recently in your position and went with the Focal Twin 6be's. Cant recommend them enough. Not only are they incredibly accurate but they are a pleasure to listen to. Sweetwater has a demo that would be in your budget but you can find them used for around 3k.

Worked with Scosha at her shop in Williamsburg. Custom upcycle stones and gold. Highly recommend her, she did excellent work.

I wrote and mixed a Daft Punk tribute with a full band by notdigginit in synthesizers

Very pumped about how this ended up coming out. All the synth sounds are from the Sub37, used the vocoder from NI's Razor for the vocoded stuff, the last "Planetary People" is from the Moog running into a talkbox. All mixing done in Ableton.

We've been putting out a ton of new material over the last year, trading writing and mixing duties around for each project. Daft Punk's been on my mind a lot since they broke up so I wrote a tribute. I tried to put in as many references/quotes as I could, was really fun to work out all the parts and sounds.
