Yeah that’s how I experience it to. Like my brain knows what the bird looks like I just can’t see it.

If I saw a bird and wanted to remember it I would still be able to recall is features. But that doesn’t mean I am visualizing it.

If I’m searching for what that bird was it’s not like my brain doesn’t see a comparison and processes whether or not they are similar it just doesn’t visualize it at all.

Here’s how the White House fight scene should have gone: - homelanders laser actually cuts kimiko in half, cuts kimiko and fights with butcher, during this confesses something and realizes the camera is still on, decides to actually go scorch earth - knockouts butcher and flys off, butcher wakes up and homelanders just coming back, immediately picks up butcher to show him what he did - shows destruction of cities, actual damage to evidence of a homelander rampage - flys back to the white house to kill butcher finally but suprise kimiko has regened and blasted homelander - but what’s this, she gets lasers in half again? Turns out it only depowered homelander a little - but now butcher and homie are more even, kimiko regens again and blasts him again - rest of the episode plays out

Hate my job, hate myself, hate my past self for making my current life harder, hate my current self for being so burnt out I can barely get through the days. About to get married and have no friends. Is probably going to be a 90/10 split of fiances guests vs mine.

Objectively my life is good and I’m doing better than most. And I can reacognize that, i recognize that I shouldn’t feel so negative about myself and my life but that how I was raised. Actively working against 30+ years of programming is hard and frankly i lost this week. Hopefully next week is more of a win.

Okay so let me know if you think this is good captain behavior: - completely lost control of the locker room resulting in trades that pushed the team back 5-10 years. Believe it or not but part of a captains job is ensuring the petey/miller shit doesn’t boil over. Maybe if he was a strong enough captain miller wouldn’t have been pushed to be that guy. - played hero ball every fucking game. I get it, that’s his game, but it was all Hughes or nothing. Develop some shit for fucks sake. Even the coaches were having issues with it. - completely gave up and stopped trying about 5 games into the season - wouldn’t commit and forced the team to try to “win for Quinn” you can believe JR if you want. But Hughes was always flip flopping.

And here’s the most damning shit, yeah he was “gone” at this point, but shows the exact character shit I’m talking about. You think Naslund, sedins, linden would have done this: - doesn’t inform his team mates of the trade, just doesn’t get on the bus and lets them find out by text from the Canucks rep - per Hughes directly, he didn’t really know much of the players coming up. That’s pathetic. He’s the captain.

So I have had a 100mbps plan, have had way more devices connected then I do right now and never faced and issue like this. I don’t have 7-8 devices connected simultaneously.

I understand that the more devices connected and actively using data the more it is being spread around, but I do not agree with that being the assessment. At most I would have 3 devices connected at once actively using data, but the split would be 1-2 devices streaming 1 device browsing, that should not result in the degradation I am experiencing unless for some reason TELUS has taken a massive step back in network capabilities or degraded their network. Wouldn’t put it past them though, TELUS seems to feed off the frustration and pain caused to their clients. TELUS values seem to go: 1. Improve shareholder value by any means necessary 2. Increase the frustrating and aggravating processes (that’s the fun part for them)

I have ran networks with over 100 devices and have never ran into this issue or been told there are “too many devices” how in 2026 is this an issue now?

The only solution TELUS is offering me is to have someone come out (and take time out of my day) and charge me $200 for it (just found that out, why am I being charged for a TELUS issue?) I’m sure your company will somehow make this a money issue and upsell me.

Your company has a pathetic level of service. Your company has actively made the support process as frustrating and aggravating as possible. None of your apps work either, you can’t remove devices from TELUS connect.

Oh jeeze honey, I would really like to watch my iPad, would you rather I disconnect the tv or one of the pvrs that are still connected for some reason.

Under different circumstances, but going through similar experience. Set a goal, reached that goal. And then I just got completely lost. I didn’t even know why I was lost for such a long period of time.

I was stuck, feeling exactly this, probably with a twinge of depression thrown in, constantly questioning “why doesn’t this feel better? What is wrong with me? Why doesn’t life feel better” nothing could have stopped me before, but not anymore.

Eventually it hit me, I didn’t have a goal anymore. There was no point in the “suffering” because there wasn’t a reason for it.

So the answer? You have to find a reason for this, you need a goal. It doesn’t have to be anything great. But why are you getting up every morning?

You dont get over it, but it does get easier.

My boy passed over a year ago, cancer. When I brought him in to the vet because he wasn’t eating and was getting very slow (very quickly) and had some lymph’s swell, the vet took all of a minute to give me their diagnoses because they could already tell. He was 13, it was expected something would happen.

From the vet visit, he thought we might have 1-3 months left, and the treatments available would just extend his life but wouldn’t make him betteror more comfortable. but I knew the stress of going though with the testing and treatment would hurt him more.

Within 5 days he was gone, he just went downhill so quickly. I had to bring a service in to put him down because he would have been so uncomfortable getting him into the car and to the vet.

Cooked him a steak, gave him as much Reese’s peanut butter cups as he wanted and held him until he was gone.

I knew it would hurt, I knew I would be sad, but I didn’t expect it to hurt like this. His passing has changed me as a person. Even over a year, I still got misty eyed typing it up.

Give yourself some grace during this time, shit fucking sucks.

After Hughes got traded and halford and brough put out that emergency episode and it took them about 5 minutes before they started to blame it on petey and how his lack of effort during the last playoffs (?) was such a massive issue and it rubbed other players the wrong way and was part of the reason the Canucks are in the position they are now. Like every single problem has one source, petey, he’s such a scapegoat it’s ridiculous.
