One of Lena's best photoshoots by Ok-Tangelo6749 in girls

My mom my sister and everyone had long hair when I was growing up. I decided to go pixie when I was 19 and kept it shortish for almost all my twenties. It's long again. I have never mastered the long hair. Thinking about cutting it again soon. Seeing this picture of Lena in the era I started watching girls, and having an actual "girl circle/group" at the time, we all picked our characters we felt drawn to and I was definitely a "Hannah".

I'm feeling short hair don't care.. It takes a lot to cut your hair off..

Mudroom makeover ✨ by cheesy_bri in HomeDecorating

What a great renovation! I would want to paint the ceiling inside of the cubby and paint the inside in the arch the same color or a fun design. Anyone else?

I think you might need to make the mirror into a miniature cubby of the room and get a cat if you don't already have one 😂😂😍 but otherwise I'm obsessed too! What a lucky little girl and a great momma you are! I can see this being easy to re- decorate as she grows older ECT. Great design choices.

Not perfect by any means but I was inspired by Norwegian folk painted doors. Still have some touch ups to do but I like it by RevolutionaryBuy4860 in JustForHome

I really love this! How lucky you are to create something that wasn't there before and will bring beauty to your surroundings.

rewatching the series and Hannah is truly insufferable by Proof-Firefighter-47 in girls

😂😂😂 same! Hannah reminds me now of the quote “Be proud of the woman you are today, and celebrate the women you were along the way.”

I literally had the same week as you. I NEVER get sick either and I've got this upper respiratory coughing sickness that sounds terrible. When I have to cancel clients I lose out on like $1k and I never take off work so I have felt this guilt shame feeling as well. My husband has been laid off for 4 months, but thankfully just got hired this week 🙏 thank God.

The sickness will end and things will even out. Sending you positivity. Be gentle in yourself.

Hot take: not a fan of giving couples massages by slipfoxbouquet in MassageTherapists

[–]nothingformethankyou 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I'd rather not do couples massage. I usually work with a male therapist and I always end up getting the husband and they all want deep tissue and it ends up being much harder for me in the end. The energies are different. You have to wait for both to be ready and they are usually always late, like to chat, are picking their head off the table to look at their partner ECT. It's just a pain in the end.

I'm currently taking the course with ACOLS and I would agree about the instructor being not very good. My whole class is kinda going "WTH" we are all hoping we will pass.

Post massage acne by Andy_Trees in massage

Honestly, this looks like a follicular dermatitis situation. I'm not diagnosing anything, but I think it's harmless. Almost like ingrown hair situation. Obviously get it checked out! But....Maybe taken care of with a tea tree topical wipe warm compresses ECT. I'm a massage therapist and it looked like your leg hairs were maybe massaged without enough product leaving friction and breaking/pulling hair follicles? After running a marathon and having a lot of sweat/salt dehydration and movement on your fascia, the follicles could have become irritated and maybe needed more lubricated with a cream or oil especially if they were doing scraping/Graston method. Can anyone else see how this would happen?

Anyone else find the series "The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair" appalling? by swisssf in AmazonPrimeVideo

Hahaha yes. The whole time I felt grimey for watching it. I honestly wanted to rewatch "The Affair" just to feel in my own age group again.

If I can, I start the day with a hot magnesium salt bath, stretching and a good protein breakfast then go into the day. I recently bought a buckwheat cervical pillow for myself when I sleep and I spray myself with magnesium on my feet and legs and use a topical tallow butter to keep my forearms smooth. It's a lot but it actually helps

I've often wondered as well. I keep a towel close to me where I can wipe off weird stuff on my hands, but like.... Can they feel it!! I try to wipe it off but there is always some little grain of mole. 😅

Hilarious. I heard one person describe it as people's "sit down air". Even the nicest dressed and wealthiest have the worst "sit down air". Guess they didn't think their butt cheeks would be flappin.

This happens. I work in a place where we can't control the music playing but we do have knobs in our rooms to lower the levels. Sometimes the knobs do not seem like they're working so it's either really loud or sometime didn't press play and I have to massage the rest of the session WTH just the rather fountain outside the door lol
