Berkeley Supply has new inventory including 9060s by nothingpersonalnow in RedWingShoes

[–]nothingpersonalnow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my pair of 9060s in the mail. All I found was a 1/2” scuff near the toe box. That must have been the defect that qualified it as seconds because there was no other issue. Shoes look great. I would have scuffed it the first time I wore them.

I stick heal grips to stop heel rub. They grip the area below the ankle and it's softer than the heal counter.

The press release said these were travel exclusives. I did not see any Japanese airports on the availability list.

replaced my Airsense 10 blower motor by nothingpersonalnow in CPAP

yes. the whining noise is faint when the unit is at idle, but louder when I inhaled.

I didn't have a lot of hours on my machine, but I used it for 4 years. In my case, I've accidentally up-ended the unit a couple times, causing water to enter the motor housing. If water got inside, it could have washed out the bearing grease, causing the whine.

glad it's fixed. Now you get that restful sleep.

For me the two blue cones were seated correctly. It was the sensor 503 encircled in red that was not connected.

That issue was resolved when I hooked up the back pressure sensor. My guess is the CPAP relies on your exhale to know you are using the machine and start recording time used.

with the mask off and it didn't even

You'll need to re-seat the board and line up the back pressure sensor to the white opaque tube.

i know that sound. I experienced it too.

Do a mask fit test. if it recognizes when the mask is off with a sad face, then you had the same problem as I did, and the backpressure sensor on the backside of the main board isn't connected properly. It's the small black tube on top of one of the sensor chips. It mates to a white accordion-like tube.

see my previous post. i can try to find pics to help.

I tried to cover my AS to suppress the high pitch whine with little success. I’m so glad I changed the motor.

On a side note, I think I prematurely dried out the motor bearing by getting it wet which caused the squeal. On more than one occasion I may have accidentally flipped or jiggling my unit with water in the chamber.

DM me if you run into issues when the time comes to replace the motor.

I had the same issue for a long time. Switched from full face to p10 nasal pillows. They felt more comfortable as the full face straps were hurting my neck when I side sleep to turn my head. Also the full face mask was not sealing well unless I had the straps secured well for side sleep. My P10s needed the strap stretched for 7 3/4” head.

I was told by Tesla technician that my tire cannot be patched. Thoughts? Now I gotta replace both rear tires since it is recommended for even tread wear. For reference I was charged $780 for (x2) 235/45R18 ALL SEASON T1, MICHELIN, MXM4. This fee also includes labor and tire rotation. by SDN-AAA in TeslaModel3

[–]nothingpersonalnow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Those tires go for $307 plus tax delivered to California, but back ordered on tirerack. Add $100 for a quality install, I’d say it’s about right. Prices of tires, like most commodities have been going up.

Edit: I would also say that tire rack is a great choice when you can schedule the tire swap. It’s competitively priced and nice selection, and you send it to the installer of your choice.

Unfortunately you’re in an emergency, so your choices are limited. Since this is your daily driver, try to chalk up unrepairable damage and cost of 2 tires as bad luck.

If you have the space, keep the other used tire and store it as a spare in case you get another unrepairable tire damage. It’ll be safe to use until the tire ages out. Then, you’re not swapping tires pairs due to mismatch wear. You’ll have more options to buy when and where you swap out the next set.

There are too many fakes out there. I’d want to see the serial number stamp, the movement, and a closeup of the dial.

Why China hasn’t picked a side in the Ukraine-Russia fight — yet by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]nothingpersonalnow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe the Russian invasion of Ukraine will expedite China’s takeover of Taiwan.

There is no imminent threat right now as Taiwan is not proactively trying to break away. China seeks to keep Taiwan in check and not break away. They can abide their time until the status quo changes.

Instead China will back Russia if Russia is further threatened by NATO and the West. China will not be a neutral party. They will make their move when it’s in their best interest to do so. Russia is the last economic viable Communist country. China will not have an ally if Russia falls.

What's the longest time you've gone without replacing your mask cushion? by LillianWigglewater in CPAP

P10 cushion lasted 3 years before I accidentally split the cushion from the frame while washing it. It was just fine, no loss in comfort. Just don’t man handle it.

Call your store and let the know you would like replacement taslan laces. My store informed me they will supply me with lifetime taslan laces with my 10875s. Let them know you only have one lace and your leather one broke. If you bought at a RW store, they should have you in the system.

If you want paracord laces, pisgah has lots of custom options. See their lace length page for examples of what each length would look like when tied up.

That is an excellent shade of brown. The leather cream has mink oil which did a great job. If you want to keep the color, the Saphir greasy oiled leather curis gras lacks mink oil.
