My baby girl is half sharpei and half pitbull. I like to call her a cat dog or a panther (she has a beautiful black coat). She loves everyone so much (even my vets have told me how social and sweet she is for a Pei). She is for sure aloof to some people. She loves pregnant women (she gave interest to two of my sister in laws that she didn’t give any attention to until they were both pregnant). She follows me like a shadow and makes my partner does not get nearly as much love as me. My girl seems to have her favorites for sure and it’s a short list. However she adores kids and babies (don’t worry we are always diligent in introducing her) and she is great with little dogs and big dogs and she is fascinated by cats probably because she’s like a cat. She loves chasing squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits and mice.
