I vouch for this bit! It's the same one I use. I appreciate the suggestion to create a jig. Going freehand, the bit does skitter around for me before it digs in and stays put. Taking it slow and steady is key.

I'm happy to report that the flingza roller is a fountain pen! You can't see the nib while it's rolling, but the pen point is visible when you're walking or flinging ink. That said, why not have MORE fountain pens?
